25.01.2022 Sorry. More than a word. It takes authentic action in support of the word "sorry" for any apology to carry meaning or healing. National Sorry Day is a day for all Australians to acknowledge the ongoing impacts flowing from devastating past policies of forced child removals. It is also a day to recognise the strength and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We are proud to be finding our way in playing a meaningful role to raise awareness amongst Austra...lia's newly arrived refugee community of the beauty, strength and endurance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and culture. #nationalsorryday2021 #sorry #sorryday

10.01.2022 A massive shout out to all the locals and people with refugee experience who joined our community walk this week. Bringing together nearly 100 people from all walks of life is such a joy for us, and we couldn't do it without our wonderful OneSteppers. Not only is it a joy but our walks make a huge difference for people facing social isolation and the hardships that so often come with resettlement. #thankyou #grateful #supporters #onestepwalks #onestep #refugee #community #compassion #empathy #joy #walking #amwalking

06.01.2022 Hello Onesteppers we have another event this Sunday May 30th! Come along and join us for another walk & talk on a beautiful autumn's day!

02.01.2022 On Sunday we proudly began our day by acknowledging the Cammeraygal people of the greater Eora Nation on whose land we met, walked and connected as a community. Paying our respects to their Elders past, present and future, we acknowledged that not only have the Cammeraygal been welcoming newcomers to this beautiful part of the world for tens of thousands of years, they have also been meeting, walking and connecting here too. We are not the first to do this here on this land. We have so much to learn from all Traditional Owners across Australia, and we are grateful for this opportunity. #NRW2021 #MoreThanAWord #Reconciliation #refugee #community #onestep #onestepwalks
