22.01.2022 We are pleased to share a video featuring One Tree RTO students doing their school-based traineeship in Hedland. School-based traineeships are a great way to support a future employment pathway for students. School-based traineeships allow students to complete a nationally recognised Certificate III qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care at the same time as completing their Western Australian Certificate of Education at school. This puts students a step ahead i...n building their careers once they finish their year 12 studies. A huge thank to Hedland Senior High School, Hedland Collective and Creating Communities Australia for inviting us to be part of the project. Here is some more information about our RTO programs in Hedland, Karratha and Perth. https://www.onetree.org.au/training/school-based-training/

17.01.2022 This year National Child Protection Week will celebrate its 30th year with the theme: putting children first. Putting children first means prioritising the safety and wellbeing of children. To grow up well children need to feel safe and loved, have a chance to play and explore, have a say in decisions that affect them, and access to essential things like food, shelter and healthcare. #playyourpart #ncpw

06.01.2022 As you are aware, NAIDOC week is taking place from the 8th-15th November. The theme this year is Always Was, Always Will be, and recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this land for over 65,000 years. To support One Tree’s commitment to reconciliation we have launched the Indigenous Service Directory. This document has been created by the Reconciliation Action Plan working group, with the invaluable input and contributions from all our services. This is an ever growing and evolving document that aims to encompass and be inclusive of all our services. #NAIDOC2020 #alwayswasalwayswillbe
