25.01.2022 STATEMENT FROM THE FINKE DESERT RACE COMMITTEE Everyone knows this year’s Tatts Finke Desert Race has had to be cancelled due to COVID-19. This gives the many ...volunteers and officials, committee personnel, emergency services workers and station owners their first weekend off for many years. No racing this year also gives the land we race through the opportunity for some respite from the thousands of campers who line the track from Alice Springs to Finke each race weekend. This coming Queens Birthday long weekend (6-8 June 2020) the Finke Desert Race committee will not be supporting people to go camping alongside, or riding on, the Finke track. Annual Landholder permission for riding hasn’t been sought and campers will not be welcomed unless they have permission. Additionally, cattle may be in the vicinity of the track due to the race having been cancelled. The Committee understands that people will be looking to get out of town on the first available weekend (which coincidentally would have been Finke weekend) however we are actively encouraging people not to travel down the Finke track. Thank you for continuing to support Australia’s Ultimate Desert Race.
23.01.2022 WORKING BEE THIS WEEKEND A working bee is organised for this weekend at the track at Parilla. We need to finish putting out bunting and marking the track as well as setting up the pit/camping areas.
21.01.2022 Gawler Road Knights Loveday 320 POSTPONED I am very disappointed to inform you that today the Club made the decision to postpone the event due to the announceme...nts today by both the State and Federal Governments. The South Australian Government will be closing the South Australian Border at 4pm on Tuesday and the Federal Government has recommend that all non-essential travel not to be undertaken. The Loveday 4X4 Adventure Park are keen to hold an event as soon as in practical given the current circumstances and we will advise all competitors as soon as we have more information. A full refund will be processed to your credit card or you will be contacted for your bank details for an EFT transfer. Stay safe and we’ll see you at a track hopefully sometime soon. Murray Rogers Clerk of Course King of the Dunes.

04.01.2022 MONTHLY MEETINGS To all club members and associates, due to Covid-19 and the new regulations put forward by the government all face to face monthly meetings for ORCC have been cancelled until further notice. We are looking into other "non-contact" meeting options and will keep everyone informed as to the outcome of this. In the mean time please stay safe, stay home and maintain social distancing. Lets get through this so we can go racing again.

01.01.2022 Some great news from Summit Racing Team Car Club.
01.01.2022 The Waikerie Riverland Off Road Association, met recently for our scheduled June meeting, and importantly to review the situation for our upcoming event which w...as scheduled for July. The club unfortunately, we're left with no choice other than to cancel for 2020. With a review of the current and proposed future requirements to comply with Covid 19 regulations in South Australia we could not see how we could run our event in a viable manner that would give community benefit back to the Riverland region. It is disappointing to again have to cancel after canceling the 2019 event due to the drought, the first time in 40 years. We hope to be able to welcome you all back to our race in 2021. See more
