25.01.2022 State LC wrap up and what an amazing effort by all 16 Onkas swimmers. Onkas finished the meet with......... 2 x NAQT, 1 State MC record. 13 gold medals, 9 silver and 1 bronze, 51 top ten finishes (including medalists) and 79PBs. Onkas finished 15th out of 57 clubs entered, 9th South Australian Club, and second highest scoring Country Club. ... Congratulations Pat and Colin for yet again preparing your swimmers so well for this meet and well done to Brad, Jack F, Noah F, James, Samuel K, Samuel M, Jordy, Fraser, Fox, Charlotte E, Elka, Matylda, Miki, Arabella, Cayleigh and Emily for representing Onkas so well. Go Onkas!

25.01.2022 Due to the large number of entries, we are aiming to start the Onkas carnival 15 minutes earlier at 8.45. This will affect swimmers from the following clubs, Mountain Pool Amateur Swimming Club, Norwood Swimming Club, Kent Town Swimming Club, Marion Swimming Club, Murray Bridge Swimming Club, Great Southern Swimming Club, @clare swimming club, Southern Performance Swimming Club and iSwim at Immanuel College who have entered the 400 free or IM. Lunch will follow the conclusion of event 39 which is due to start at 12.30 and estimated finish time is 5.00pm. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow.
24.01.2022 Last night at the completion of Club Championships 2 of our senior swimmers made a special presentation to one of our newest members Charlie. Charlie has been selected to represent Australia at the Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019 next month. He will be competing in individual events as well as swimming the anchor leg of the freestyle relay. Charlie, Onkas are extremely proud of you and wish you all the very best for your races. 24.01.2022 So proud of young Fraser who shaved his head this morning after training to raise money for the Cancer Council SA. His team mates enjoyed the opportunity to snip off a pony tail for a gold coin donation adding to his amazing fundraising tally. Well done Fraser, youre an amazing young man.

22.01.2022 Could all clubs please remind their members that events 35, 12/under 100 free and 40 mixed 200 freestyle cannot be entered through the meet shell but we are more than happy to enter swimmers into the programme manually. 18.01.2022 Due to the amazing number of swimmers entered in the Onkas Carnival there have been some changes to the entry and start times. To allow for fair and beneficial warmups for all swimmers we have split the warm up time into 2 groups. GROUP A 7.30-8.00am Kent town, GSSC, Norwood, Mountain Pool, Starplex, C/Crest, Onkas. GROUP B. 8.00-8.30am... Silver City, TTG, Southern Performance, Western Aquatic, M/Bridge, Marion and PAC. Gates will open at 7.15 and first race will be at 8.45. 15.01.2022 A very successful weekend of swimming for Jordy Martin. Jordy swam at the All in Meet yesterday where he achieved NAQT for the 100 and 200 fly. In achieving the 100 fly NAQT he also broke the boys 14 yr old Country record that has stood since 1996 by over 3 seconds. Jordy also swan at the local EDSA meet this morning where he broke the 14yr old boys 1500m free Country record. Outstanding swimming Jordy, keep up the great work.

14.01.2022 Last night around 100 past and present members of the Onkaparinga Swimming Club joined together to celebrate the amazing milestone of Pat Wheeler being Head coach of the Club for 20 years. Pat has served Onkas for 29 years in total, 20 of those being as Head Coach. It was great to get together to celebrate the many qualifications, awards and achievements Pat has accumulated over this time. It was particularly great to have so many swimmers, junior and senior be prepared to stand up and speak as to why they love and admire Pat so much, it became very apparent Pat has inspired so many of them not only in their sport but in their day to day lives. Congratulations Patty Wheeler, we hope you enjoyed your night, heres to many more years of being awesome.
14.01.2022 Congratulations to everyone that participated in Murray Bridge over the past 4 days. Everyone dug deep and gave their all to bring the shield back home to Onkas with a winning margin of just 3.5 points. 03.01.2022 As the Summer Season draws to a close, Onkaparinga Swimming Club would like to thank Nick and his staff at the Adelaide Hills War Memorial Swimming Centre for making your beautiful pool available to us for training, particularly when our other training venue was closed. Our swimmers would especially like to thank Nick for opening the pool bright and early every morning and our parents thank Nick for firing the coffee machine up bright and early, we really appreciate you making the pool available and giving us the opportunity to have so many training sessions available to us. Thanks Nick.
