14.01.2022 Part 3 "Reasons why people don't take self-care seriously" Today, let's chat about TIME Most people don't think they have enough time. But let me ask you this very important question... "if you neglect yourself and that causes you to become ill, then would you make time to get yourself well again."... Of course you would. And the fact is you would probably have to put more time and effort into getting your health... relationship... career... back on track than simply putting some strategies in place now to keep everything working like clockwork. So... why not do it? why not do it now? Your quality of life now (and later) depends on it. www.mywellbeingmatters.com

11.01.2022 You wouldn't try driving your car with no fuel, You wouldn't ride your bike with flat tires, And, you wouldn't go on a sinking boat. ... The funny this is, so many of us walk around feeling tired, burnt out and drained of energy... We are too hard on ourselves, CONSTANTLY. We are always adding something to our schedule, getting less sleep, putting others way before ourselves or just simply ignoring our own wellbeing needs. This isn't a good recipe. And I know I don't need to tell you that this recipe cooks up a terrible storm of burn out, compromised immune systems, unhealthy choices and increased risks of depression and anxiety.... But a reminder is always good So take July as a reset month. Take a deep breath, prioritise what's most important and schedule in some ME time. This simple recipe is guaranteed to cook you a wonderful blend of self-care, self-love and self-respect. So make that your July goal. Visit www.mywellbeingmatters.com to see how we can support your self-care journey.

09.01.2022 Let's talk confidence! Confidence is different for everyone... And we know that at times, our kids struggle with their confidence - which is perfectly normal! ... Sometimes low or high confidence is induced through triggers and it is important to know our own, as well as our kids, confidence triggers! Why? Because then these triggers can be worked on! And those triggers that encourage low confidence can be beaten and those that encourage high confidence can be repeated (that rhyme was completely on accident I promise ) And great way to track what your confidence triggers are, is through a confidence diary! Your diary needs to be kept in a place where you are most likely to use it! Like on the bed side table or in the office etc. Tracking how you feel from day to day and what made you feel that way will guide you in recognising your own patterns! It is important to note the highs as well as the lows! This also works as a positive reminder on the bad days that there are good days! This could be a great activity to get the kids involved with as well! Not only so that they can identify their confidence triggers, but also to increase their self-awareness skills! So - give it a go and let us know what you think! www.mywellbeingmatters.com
09.01.2022 If you are sick and tired of constantly battling stress, burn out and never having time for you... Then WELLBEING MASTERY is the program for you! In just 4 weeks, Brad will take you through building your very own self-care plan designed specially for YOUR needs and wants. ... What does this mean? This means that your mental, emotional, physical, professional and relationship wellbeing is being looked after... So, say goodbye to the days of putting yourself last. No longer are the days you feel exhaustion to the point of burn out. And adios to the mayhem that can be every day life... You are worth it, your family is worth it. But hey - don't take our word for it... Check out what past participants said: "Brad, I can't thank you enough for everything you have done for me. I am just so grateful to you and your Wellbeing Mastery Course." - Carmen, NSW "The major benefit I got from the Wellbeing Mastery course was that I have done more for my wellbeing in the last month than I have ever done before and it's given me a road map to get from where I am to where I want to be." - Varsha, QLD "Yes, I would recommend to the masses and I said this in the past... this needs to be out there for others to use, learn and teach others." - Helen, WA "I found this this course easy to understand and well put together. I like that it was an online course because it gave me time to think about each module. And I really appreciated the added bonus of the having face-to-face Zoom meetings weekly to go over the modules." - Judith, QLD Head to www.mywellbeingmatters.com to read more and sign up today. Our next round starts THIS SUNDAY! So go, go, go!

05.01.2022 Did you ever see that movie Pay It Forward? I remember being so moved by that movie. So, today... why don't we make an effort to implement this simple concept? Here are some ideas: - leave an anonymous sticky note compliment for someone... - pay for the coffee of the person behind you - simply smile at strangers as you walk past them - bake (or buy) a special treat for your neighbour or child's teacher - increase your awareness by watching for moments when you could do something to help out and then do that thing We'd love to know what you've done, so feel free to share!
04.01.2022 School holidays although seem stressful, are actually the perfect time to de-stress! And here is a way you can do this just in the home: DE-CLUTTERING!... 1. Organise your wardrobe 2. Clean out the pantry 3. Go through the laundry cupboard 4. Sort the kids toys 5. Organise the garage A clear space helps you have a clearer mind. And a clearer mind helps you feel less stressed! An organised space also means you know where everything is and this also helps keep you calmer during the morning school and work rush! So set the kids with a de-clutter task and off you go! P.S. Anything you plan on getting rid of - consider dropping it off at an op shop (as long as it is clean, in working condition and not too weathered)!
01.01.2022 There are some very important lessons in this little story... What do you think are the key points?
01.01.2022 I wanted to share a concept I read in one of Brad's books (50 Tips To Help You Stay Positive). "Walk into positivity" What does 'walking into positivity' look like? ... Well, it looks like taking the dog for a 30 minute sunset walk or doing a beach side walk at midday in the sunshine to warm up. Basically, just taking a stroll outside and in the sunshine! Why? Because the sun soaks into your skin and produces vitamin D, which is also mood boosting! Seasonal affective disorder (SAD) is something seen a lot during this time of year, and soaking up the sun is perfect natural solution! So - throw on your jumper and some joggers, and soak up any sunshine you can (don't forget sunscreen)! www.mywellbeingmatters.com
