24.01.2022 Head into Onyx now to enjoy an afternoon listening to our very own Lauren and her side kick, Zari. The games are on the TV’s and the food is hot and the drinks are cold.

24.01.2022 Well the Commonwealth Games has finally arrived! The atmosphere is really buzzing. On the main stage (Surf Pde) Amy Shark is on until 8pm. We have these lovely ladies making a comeback - Lauren & Yasmina from 8pm. Come on down, support your local business and local entertainers. The roads are barely closed and far from congested and there is plenty of your usual parking. ... It’s going to be a great night!

23.01.2022 News travels fast in little Broadbeach so we thought we would let you all know first hand and straight from the horses mouth. It’s with great sadness that after 10years, (5 of which as the owners) We are calling it a day. Please join with us over the coming days to farewell our iconic venue as the doors close for the final time....Sunday the 20th of May. ... There are so many people we would love to thank for your continual support throughout the good and the tough times. Firstly our amazing locals, my goodness...we are going to miss you just as much as you’ll miss us! It’s such a compliment to see you guys and girls back day in and day out every day and every week and our appreciation for your support is just beyond words. Our Onyx music family, how fortunate and lucky we’ve been to have had you all entertain the masses in our venue over the years and to make the Onyx what it’ll always be remembered as. Absolute talents Last but certainly not least, our incredible staff...past and present, your loyalty, your exceptional work ethic and your continual support and enthusiasm are what have shaped and created the Onyx family it is today and will be always. We are the LUCKIEST people ever to have had you all with us for as long as we have had. What ever adventure awaits you all you’ll have our 100% support and best ever references SUNDAY THE 20th of MAY with be our final day of trade and given its blues fest in Broadbeach the street will be buzzing. Please come on down for a final piece of fried chicken and a fireball and help us go out with a bang!
