25.01.2022 Caribbean Gardens might make us think of the market, the jungle boat cruise, and the chair lift ride. However, the large Caribbean Park Estate spans an 80 acre lake and landscaped gardens, and has seen a lot of development over the years. Today, the state-of-the-art business park is continuing to expand. We are currently working on 2 new office towers designed by Jacobs Architects. 22.01.2022 The basement car park of Eastland Shopping Centre before it opened recently. Opat completed over 30,000 sq metres of car park soffits and hundreds of columns.

21.01.2022 Julie Bishop, Jesinta Campbell, Jessica Gomes, Jessica Mauboy, and a large crowd headed to Eastland Shopping Centre today for its opening. The team have been putting in a huge effort over the redevelopment to be ready for the unveiling. Here is a close up of the ventilation inserts painted off site which are now installed and operating in the amazing curved glass roof. Well done to all involved!

20.01.2022 Chadstone Shopping Centres $665 million redevelopment has made it the largest shopping centre in the Southern Hemisphere. Opat completed all interior and exterior mall surfaces in this architecturally stunning extension. http://opat.com.au///commercial/chadstone-shopping-centre/

19.01.2022 We have extensive knowledge and experience with protective coating solutions and sealers for timbers. The Dock Square Library was predominantly constructed from engineered timber and reclaimed hardwood. The use of low VOC stains, paints and oils assisted in achieving a 6 star green rating. We also won the Enviro Painter Category award for this work earlier this year.

19.01.2022 Opened earlier this year, we painted the interior and exterior of Casey Central Shopping Centre, which is made up of 84 fresh food, dining, and speciality stores, as well as Aldi, Coles and Target. 17.01.2022 #tbt Opat was proud to sensitively restore all internal and external painted surfaces of the grand, Hawthorn Town Hall. External works included completing the clock tower and turret via abseil. Internal works included staining metres of new timbers to match original aged timbers. Opat worked on the external and internal restoration, as well as the line marking and floor sealer as seen here. 08.01.2022 Opat was engaged to paint the extensive renovation at Eastland Shopping Centre, including the eye catching curved ceiling. 07.01.2022 Constructed in 1873, and expertly restored by the Opat team this year, the heritage listed Portland House was originally a townhouse and surgery. Its also of considerable architectural importance as its one of the few remaining mid Victorian Italianate townhouses within the context of Melbourne.

06.01.2022 Trolleys as far as the eye can see at Costco Moorabbin, and Opat painting works are nearing completion. Apparently the average Costco shopper fills their trolley with 14 items per shop, so if the quantity of trolleys here are anything to go by, theyre in for a successful opening!

05.01.2022 The team are hard at work on the Westfield Casey Central Shopping Centre. Here you see us spraying the exposed mall ceiling. By the time we have finished the centre, we will have used in excess of 7000 litres of paint in 26 different colours.

It achieved a 5 Star Green Rating and relies on natural ventilation and light, coupled with low energy facilities such as solar power. It offers 137 office suites and retail spaces over 4 levels. 01.01.2022 Were delighted to reveal the fully refurbished heritage facade of Portland House, 8 Collins Street, Melbourne. The refurbishment included render repairs, preparation and repainting to the sandstone faade, timber windows, cast iron balconies and re-instatement of gold leaf detailing to feature elements. What a beauty!
