Air-dried slabs and planks quietly counting time in southern Tasmania...a traditional rule of thumb for air-drying lumber is to allow one year of drying time per 25mm / one inch of wood thickness - obviously, theres variables but its a rough starting point in understanding the time investment to properly air-dry these slabs.
