23.01.2022 Our final night @Hard Rock Cafe Surfers Paradise last Thursday went out with bang... Another fantastic gathering of local musicians, a fitting send off for Open Mic night with some brilliant performances by local bands, solo/duo and trio acts ... Thanks going out to all our friends ... Those of you, the weekly performers/acts/artists that have regularly visited the venue and shared in the Live & Local music and good times. Your support for the event on Thursday night Open Mic... and Jam night at the venue over the past 12 months has been so very much greatly appreciated ... and also the amazing staff at the Hard Rock Cafe for your support, friendship and always incredible hospitality ... It’s been a blast getting to know all of you and share in the live music and play some tunes together ... Thanks for the awesome LiVE tunes last week, perhaps the best was saved til last ... LiVE and local music on Wednesday nights &The Cooly get in early to register/reserve your performance slot from 6:30pm and the #livemusic starts from 7pm Reminder and heads up to everyone that we supply full production and equipment for you onstage (drums/bass/guitar setup) meaning you just bring your instrument and plug in and play with your band mates... You are welcome to supply your own instruments - guitars bass etc and we have drum-kit setup and ready to go. Everybody is welcome to share the stage and join in on the weekly music shenanigans from beginners to established performers/acts/artists.

He is currently traveling Australia from the UK ... VERY solid drummer playing drums with many acts across the weeks he visited Jam night. We were stoked to find out he didn’t mind playing a tune or two on the guitar as well ... Multiple acts covers and original turned it up again with various solos/duos and BANDS bringing a very welcome atmosphere to return to after a couple of weeks off... Sending out our thanks once again to EVERYONE that came along to support and play music at Cooly Hotel on a Wednesday ... Next week is postponed with ANZAC DAY being on Wednesday April 25th, we will be back to Open Mic & Jam weekly as of Wednesday 2nd of May Always looking forward to the next one... See you there
