16.01.2022 Currently it is difficult for Laura to travel or do overnight trips, as her family and friends have to transfer her themselves, putting everyone (including Laura) at a greater risk of injury. This lifter will allow Laura to be moved safety and more frequently from her chair, to the car, to the beach chair, and to bed. This lifter is different to the one Laura uses on a day to day basis at Clelland Lodge, as it is easily transportable and will be her own personal lifter that she can use on both day trips and overnight trips. These will change Laura’s life, allowing her to go on adventures and do the things she loves, just as any 26 year old would want to do.
