25.01.2022 Big dog problems #76 when you try to climb over the back seat but you're heavy and totally not agile and you get stuck halfway and just have to go with it. #playingitcool

18.01.2022 Callie is due for eye surgery next week, once her recovery is underway she will be good as gold to be placed into a new home. Callie has gone through a LOT of changes over the past 5 weeks. -she struggled to meet new people and at our group training session just this week she happily had a snuggles with everyone male and female...Continue reading

15.01.2022 Callie dropped into the vet clinic last week and spent some time getting to know her veterinarian. Liver treats were the way into this big girls heart. She has been prescribed drops for her eyes as she has conjunctivitis and is heading back on Thursday to get her nails clipped and continue building trust with new people.

12.01.2022 On our way to the vets!

07.01.2022 progress video of how Callie is going with her training. And don't forget guys she is still up for adoption despite the kids asking multiple times if we can keep her

06.01.2022 Please donate and share to help Callie get the help she desperately needs.

06.01.2022 Hey guys! Rachel here! Just to give you guys a recent update and what will be going down from here. You'll see updates from me during Callies training process which started today. I picked her up with not my usual car so this happened. Don't worry though I got her into the back after this and we are nice and safe and have already started the training process xx

06.01.2022 Our beautiful smoosh went back to the vet today in hopes of clipping her nails. Unfortunately Callie has not gained the trust needed to allow them to do so. On the plus side her conjunctivitis is improving. So today we took as a trust building day and hopefully one more step towards allowing strangers to work with her. If you are able please consider donating or sharing. We are desperate to see this gorgeous pup able to be happy in public places in the future.

05.01.2022 Our sweet girl along with her human team have a huge announcement to share with you all. We have had some beautiful people donate to Callies cause recently. Getting us closer to that all important $6500 goal to give her the new life she deserves. But a special someone last night absolutely blew us away with her donation. Bianca Harman has donated $5000!!!!!... This means callies extensive retraining and training support for future owners with Rachel from The honest canine is paid for! Bianca you have secured Callie having a new life and we will never be able to thank you enough. You have all shown us how amazing humans can be. We still have a small way to go to ensure Callies surgery is covered but we are well on the way. She will be making her trip to begin her training very soon and we will be continuing to update her progress. Tonight we are beyond happy and in awe of what dog lovers can achieve. Thank you all so much xx

04.01.2022 *seeking home* For anyone who has met Callie in person I am sure they will agree with me, her personality is infectious and she is definitely a once in a life time dog. There haven’t been many dogs I have made such a huge claim with, I mean I freaking love them all, but there is just something about Callie, I’m not one for pet names but I’ve started calling her big mumma or just mumma ever so affectionately. ... If someone doesn’t snatch her up soon I think I may just change my mind if this keeps going the way it is haha Callie is 5 but is still so young at heart, her build is solid and sturdy no internal known health issues which is fantastic for her breed and size. Can be with dogs and kids depending on temperament. No cats. Callie has gone through 5 weeks of training to help kick start her new life and fix some old bad habits that have developed along her life journey so far and she comes fitted into an 6 month program to provide you with all the help and support needed to make sure everyone adjust well to living together and continues to grow a happy healthy bond together. If you are interested in discussing Callie’s adoption please message the Facebook page. So many people have fallen in love with this girl but unfortunately it hasn’t been the right time or right set up for her. Could you be her perfect match? reach out we would love to have a chat! Know someone who might be tag and/or share the post help spread the word that this beautiful girl is looking for her forever home.

02.01.2022 We weren't sure if Callie would ever be able to be around other dogs given her reactivity before coming to work on her issues, but guys, she just keeps kicking milestones and showing how workable she really is. Despite her being 5 she is very puppy like in her play and very unaware of her size and is all paws so needs the right play mates that can handle her buuut loooook! This girl really does have a lot of love to give

01.01.2022 When you ask your dog to sit but you don't specify where. Lap it is then
