10.01.2022 TOOLBOX TALK As tradies, the majority of our work is hands on but the paperwork that needs to be done before we even commence work on site can become daunting at times. Here at OPM we’re using our years of experience in the trades industry to make the hard task of paperwork easier and more efficient. We’re going to start with SWMS, they’re one of those pesky pieces of paperwork that needs to be completed before starting works. A Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) is a... legal document that outlines the high-risk construction work (HRCW) activities carried out within a workplace, the hazards that may arise from these activities and safety measures put in place to control the risks. SWMS are a requirement for many builders, real estates and companies you may subcontract to. So that you NEVER get caught out we have put together a pack of SWMS templates for various high risk tasks we have routinely undertaken over the years that are fully customizable, allowing you to put your logo and company information on each SWMS. These are perfect for the day to day works completed on site, just print them off and keep them in a folder in your work vehicle for easy access!
