07.02.2022 Something to consider.

03.02.2022 To our wonderful Orana Community, We have had three days back at school. In order for our drive through and parking to accommodate all people, we must abide by the following to ensure a flow of traffic. ... We had the ranger give us a visit this afternoon and I explained the following of what processes we have in place. If you want to use the drive through, come AFTER 3.10pm. The children will be waiting for you to jump in the car. If you arrive earlier, it only causes a traffic jam. All students are still in their classes. This is when the ranger comes, as you are not permitted to queue on the road. Please keep the entrance to the second gate free so families can drive and either park in the car park or park on the oval. When parking on the oval, please reverse and make two lines of cars up to the boundary fence, if possible. The rest of the oval must remain free for the safety of children. Stay in your car at all times if you are using drive through. If you need to assist your child to belt up, please park. Practise Patience. We are all here for our children.

31.01.2022 You may have thought that our recycling station had disappeared, but you are mistaken! Our Sustainability Hub has been moved to the alcove near the canteen. Each class is responsible for ensuring that a particular bin is routinely cleared. Once our Year 6 Leadership Groups are established, the Sustainability Team will maintain this area. Orana recycles the following: *Bottles/cans *Oral Care ... *Textas and felt tipped pens *Ring Pulls *Digital Devices *Printer Consumables *Plastic Bottle Tops *Batteries *Mobile Phones *Soft plastics are to be dropped to Woolworths or Coles. Worm Wee is also available from our Worm Farm and we also compost our food scraps. Together, our school can make a difference.
