24.01.2022 Our Celebration of the Arts Ceremony is taking place next Wednesday 25 November 2020, at 11:30am under the Covered Outdoor Learning Area (COLA). Awards from Kindergarten to Year 6 will be given out across all facets, with featured performances by our Senior Band, Kindergarten, Ballroom Dancing Team, Junior Dance Ensemble, Primary Dance Ensemble and award-winning Elite Dance Company. 24.01.2022 What a day! Even strict COVID guidelines, restrictions, safe plans, rules and a little rain didn't stop us! Our amazing Year 6 students celebrated seven years of primary school today with a Big Day Out at Luna Park, Sydney! We extend an enormous thank you to Mr Christopher Tan, Assistant Principal for his leadership and coordination of all the end of year events for Year 6, including today's outing to Luna Park. Tomorrow is the last day of school for 2020. The purpose of NAIDOC Week is to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The 2020 theme 'Always Was, Always Will Be' was celebrated through art, music, sustainability and writing lessons across K to 6. 20.01.2022 Earlier this week, the boys and girls in Year 6 had their ‘Night of the Notables Extravaganza’. This event was a culmination of a 10 week major inquiry-based learning project, integrating the learning areas of English, History and the Creative Arts. 20.01.2022 NEWSFLASH! We extend a MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS to our Elite Dance Company, who today were announced as WINNERS of the mixed aged dance ensemble category at the Dance + Schools Online Eisteddfod. With a gold award on its way, this is an outstanding achievement and testament to the hard work and passion of this group of 30 dancers from Stages 2 and 3. Adjudication comments: Act was extremely well rehearsed. Content was appropriate for the age group involved and highly entertain...ing. Good energy and attack to your movements. Loved the variety of different staging choices. Beautiful control in leg mount! Great variety of steps to your choreography. Loved the effort with the extra lights on the side. Little to no mistakes were noticeable. This routine was very polished. A very cool routine with a strong storyline with the end as just as engaging as the start. So well performed! Did you know that Year 6 had an isolated headland, beach, river and views of the Hawkesbury all to themselves for 2 nights and 3 days at Broken Bay Sport and Recreation Centre? We are so proud of our Year 6 students for demonstrating cooperation, initiative, persistence and resilience all whilst consolidating friendships at Broken Bay Camp.
