The drive-through will include SuperHeroes, lolly bags, you can drop your letter to Santa in his mailbox and get a 'COVID-SAFE’ Family Santa Photo! 9AM-MIDDAY at Ormeau & from 3-5PM at Gilston!

17.01.2022 ORMEAU CAROLS FIREWORKS ANNOUNCEMENT Due to the current dry weather conditions and fire bans across the State, the Ormeau Carols event organisers have cancelled the proposed fireworks finale part of the show on 8 December. A donation will be made to the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal. Kristieanne Smith, Director of the Ormeau Carols, has confirmed the Ormeau Carols will be working with the community on the night to raise much needed funds for those affected by the recent fires.... Ormeau Carols Sponsor, Deputy Mayor Donna Gates congratulated the organisers and said; we urge everyone attending to spare a thought for those doing it tough and please give generously as a show of support. I’d also like to congratulate Highway Christian Church because the fireworks supplier will still be paid in full in recognition of great support over many years. Instead of fireworks, special effect snow machines have been added to the show a white Christmas - which will be a joy for the many children enjoying our Carols. Be sure to come along for what is always a spectacular event and importantly this year, show your support for those in need

We invite you to host a COVID safe street party, home gathering, or any type of celebration you can think of, and let our Carols Show be the entertainment for the night! The show will premiere on December 12 at 6PM on Highway Church's Youtube channel, and will stay online so you can view it anytime at your convenience.... Take some photos and share your carols experience with us by tagging @hwychurch or @ormeaucarols - We'd love to see everyone share the community spirit even though we are not all together! Christmas isn't canceled! Let's rally and make the most of this opportunity to gather however we can and keep Christmas alive this year!
