25.01.2022 Isolation gets clients thinking about their hair. Savannah's client usually has blonde foils, lets have a change she said. Savannah used a beautiful rich copper red and the result is stunning.

24.01.2022 Karyn came in today and said "Cut It Off".....lOl. She also said that Savannah was welcome to create the new style for her ..... Savannahs eye's were just beaming with joy... Watch out Julia, your apprentice is starting to get a bit of a following.

24.01.2022 Our client felt her hair was to gold and just wanted to cool her blonde down so Savannah added some soft micro foils. What a difference...

23.01.2022 Sue has very fine hair, we usually do a light copper, but this time she is having a complete overhaul and drastic change. Sometimes with fine hair it actually looks thicker when cut short, so we did. We also changed the colour up with a light chocolate and blonde foils.

17.01.2022 As another year draws to an end we would like to thank all our wonderful clients for your continued support and business and wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. The salon will be closed over the Christmas/New year period while we transfer into our new premises and will be reopening in the beginning of January.

16.01.2022 In light of the recent increases in the Coronavirus cases we would like to reassure our clients that your health and safety is still our top priority. We want to assure our clients that we are still following strict hygiene practices and measures as outlined by Aust Gov Dept of health. These include regular wiping down of all chairs and surfaces, the spraying of disinfectant spray on the reception desk and surfaces. We are also adding Dettol to the washing machine every time we wash towels and capes, plus cleaning the air con filter regularly. Maintaining a safe environment to all our clients and staff is priority to us.

15.01.2022 Lisa's hair really needed to be brightened up. Savannah did a full head of foils and two different toners to create a great result.

15.01.2022 Angela is a very busy women, we need to achieve a colour that would soften out Angelas regrowth. Savannah applied a few micro foils through the top and then blended out the regrowth.

14.01.2022 Jess is basically black, she loves beautiful hair and is usually pretty consistent with her routine. But sometimes BANG!!!, she comes in and wants a change. Jess asked to have some life put back in her hair so Julia added some free formed foils and cut 4 to 5 inches off.

14.01.2022 We had this beautiful client in who has been wanting to go a light blonde. This can be quite a delicate process as the most import element of this is the integrity of the hair. Savannah did a slow but very rewarding transformation. One more application to go to get the desired result. We were very happy with the first result, plus the hair felt fantastic.

13.01.2022 Vicki is normally a Beige Blonde but the natural grey is coming through so she has decide to stop fighting the grey. We are slowly adding super light foils and toning with an Ash...How beautiful.

12.01.2022 Jennifer wanted to go away from being so dark and wanted to be a rich red. We did a detox to lift out some of the darker pigment, this is quite a gentle process rather than bleaching out. Finally we applied a 6.66 with 50% ruby red intensifier and trimmed... Beautiful :)

12.01.2022 One of the salons long standing clients Ms T was in the other day after several weeks of being in hibernation. Julia loves it when Terina comes in, not just for the catch up but Julia is also allowed free rein on doing Ms T's hair. This time Julia applied half head of foils plus lightened up a little in between the foils followed by a blended toner....beautiful :)

12.01.2022 Donna loves a change, she wanted to go naturally lighter at the front hair line and naturally darker at the back. She also wanted to soften the regrowth when it comes through. Work you magic Julia... We went full colour but used two shades lighter around the front hairline and darker on the rest. Looks fantastic

12.01.2022 Belinda was recommended to come us for her transformation. With previously coloured hair the transformation to blonde is a huge one. We will need two sittings to get the blonde we are after, but more than happy with the first step.

11.01.2022 Time for a change for Leanne, her hair was down her back before it was cut. Although she liked the curls Leanne has always wanted straight hair so we did a Permanent Straightening and we were all in-love with the result. Nice and Straight.

Julia loved doing this technique, she did some hand painting and micro foils with powder lighter, then used a blend of 3 different toners. Tracy also wanted to be able to embrace her natural curl so Julia showed her how to achieve frizz free curls... LOVE IT

05.01.2022 This is Kathy, normally Kathy is just a dark base all over. Kathy wanted to have some vibrancy so Savannah did her magic and the result is just beautiful.

04.01.2022 Just a reminder that with only 1.5 weeks until Christmas our appointments are just about full. We have added additional late nights and these are filling fast with the majority of the last week fully booked. We recommend you make your appointment now to avoid not being able to get in as we already have a number of names on a waiting list.

03.01.2022 Ormeau Hair & Beauty are relocating. Our lease expires in January and our hand has been forced. We consider ourselves to be loyal tenants but the landlords rents are unsustainable and have been for a while. We tried negotiating a lease on the vacant shop next door, (which is half the size) but the rent they wanted us to pay was absorbent and the demands were unacceptable. ... This left us with a couple of options: 1) Close the doors; This we didn’t want to do as we love being a part of the Ormeau community and consider ourselves fortunate to have a strong and loyal clientele. 2) Work from a home salon; This was really the only and best option as we would still be in Ormeau and we would like to think that most of our clientele would still visit us. We are in the process of fitting out the new salon and further details will follow
