21.01.2022 GREEN CHRISTMAS > Environment Club members are encouraging everyone to have a 'green' Christmas, by making sustainable choices over the holiday period. To reuse paper from our campus recycling, students participated in some lunch time Colour Therapy on Friday to create their own Christmas cards from leftover paper products. The results were unique, as well as a great way to reuse material. Their other tips for a greener Christmas this year include: - Consider how much plas...tic packaging comes with the gifts you buy. Look for items with little or no packaging or better still make your own gifts. You could also consider giving an experience as a gift which creates a memory to last a lifetime. - Avoid disposable dinnerware and use cutlery and crockery from home. Use reusable containers for storing food and say no to straws and plastic bags. - Shop locally as this gives back to our own community and often the gifts are unique and handmade. #ormistoncollegeqld #OCcommunity #iamanOCkid #learningatOC See more

Protesting social, environmental and racial issues, these galleries show that artists have a voice when they utilise their artworks for change. C...ongratulations goes to Sophie Winslade and Imogen Hatherill, who not only had their work from the recent Yurara Youth Art awards on display, but also took out our best in show awards.
