20.01.2022 On the 13th of April 2022 Ormiston State School will be celebrating their 150th Anniversary.... Tonight I attended a committee meeting to discuss possibilities... and planning for what these celebrations might be. With folk like Bob Skinner class of 1949 and Kath McNeilly whose mother owned the Pink Shop that use to like a tuckshop for the school all those years ago, there were many interesting facts and funny stories told. What a great milestone to achieve so to ensure it’s the best it can be we are asking for contributions of stories , old photos ( ask Grandma please) and ideas for the day. The next meeting will be in March if anyone is interested please leave your details at the school so you will be advised. A wonderful community project with different people from various groups there tonight beginning the planning ...fun times and celebrations ahead
