22.01.2022 The Salmon Bay unidentified site. Diving a little known, unidentified site in 26 metres of water, located on the south side of Rottnest Island and listed on the... WA Maritime Museum online wreck database. Discovered by a member of the public and inspected by the museum in 2002. The site is located in deeper water around two miles off Salmon Bay. The site has very little visible wreckage on the small limestone reef besides a boiler of good condition, a propeller and shaft, and two unknown pieces of wreckage laying north east of the boiler. Possibly the remains of a vessel scuttled before its destination, on its way to the Deep Water Graveyard in the Rottnest Trench.

17.01.2022 We're slowly getting there with models on some big wrecks. Last weekend we managed a few quick laps around the Ex HMAS Swan to experiment with the likelyhood of... 3D Photogrametry on such a large target. Although we're pretty stoked with the result for a such a quick experiment, it's quite patchy, so we will be back! and with more time to focus on detail! See more
