23.01.2022 No thank you Quick Fixes! Humans hate change! We want to do things that make us feel good, safe and comfortable. So when we start going to the gym for two hours 6 days a week, or when we start a new low carb/ low fat/ low fun diet, it goes well for the first week or so when motivation levels are high. After that though, our bodies eventually start to resist all this change and we go back those reliable, feel good, comfortable habits (hello nightly maxibon ) So why don...’t we try and trick our bodies into changing? By sneaking in a few work outs one week, a few extra veggies the next week, and then a few less wines the next week. Over time we have overhauled our lives without our change resistant brains really noticing Think small and stay consistent P.s Please enjoy the post without the weird girl, plain wall, bright yoga mat, and fiddle leaf fig
