20.01.2022 Our Place Closed Monday 6th January 2020. Please be advised that with the smoke conditions getting worse throughout the afternoon and entering the building we have decided to close the centre tomorrow 6th January. We will advise tomorrow about whether the service will re-open on Tuesday. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes however we wanted to ensure the safety of our children and educators. Regards,... 08.01.2022 Dear Families, I have been at the service for most of the day, airing it out and the smoke has cleared up dramatically. If conditions stay the same as they are now we will be open tomorrow, 7th January 2020.... I have also been in contact with Let's Play, and they are open and the smoke hasn't impacted their building, so our excursion tomorrow will still be on. We will ask the buses to move up next to Our Place and will move the children to and from the bus as quickly as possible. Please arrive at the service by 8.30am so that your child is able to get ready for the excursion. If your child is not going to attend tomorrow, please email the service and let us know so that we don't wait for them for the excursion. I will be at the service at 6.00am tomorrow to ensure that the conditions have not deteriorated over night, and I will email all families by 6.30am to confirm if we are still open or to announce that we will be closed.
