17.01.2022 Important Announcement Due to the recent confirmed cases of COVID19 in the Southside, we have decided to implement a drive thru model again - effective immediately. We will also continue to pay extra attention to cleaning up and sanitising all items that go in and out of Share Shed. What does drive thru mean?... All items will be picked up and dropped off in the car park area just outside our premises. You can see us and say hello through our glass windows. We believe this is a small adjustment that will help us to stay safe. Learn how to tack, hand sew a seam, sew on buttons and press studs, put up and sew a hem and simple darts for starters. ... In the following classes, we may venture into the world of simple useful fancy stitches. For $5 we supply a sampler piece of material and thread. 01.01.2022 Today our volunteer Silvia visited Mercy Community - Romero Centre to present them with a gift voucher. Romero Centre does important work supporting asylum seeker families. One way they do that is by helping families moving in and out of rental accommodation. Most renters often need things like mowers, steam cleaners and pressure hoses to make sure they get their full bond back!
