15.02.2022 We have been chilling at Marion Bay/Innes National Park, which is at the bottom of Yorke Peninsula. Rugged coastline and some beautiful beaches. It has been a bit cool with day temp 21c, so have not swam yet. 10.01.2022 We moved from Stansbury to Marion Bay today via the Salt Lake trail. Went past several salt lakes but only one was distinctly pink. The pink colour comes from algae and changes colour depending on climate conditions. My drone photography definitely needs practice but I managed to get a couple of decent pics. I’m still getting use to flying it, how high, how stronger wind, trusting my viewing screen that I have not lost it. 07.01.2022 We finally got to see the all elusive platypus today, and manage to see two at the same water hole. They are very strange looking mammals. We also saw another echidna, pretty face wallaby & baby and a scary looking turtle.
