24.01.2022 The Community Paper Clothing Competition is on again in 2019! The competition is now in its 10th year and brings together Burnie’s history in the paper industr...y with the artistic talents of our community. It is an amateur competition and thus excludes participants with professional dress making qualifications. You can make clothing, headwear/masks and jewelry has been added as a category this year. The competition sets the challenge either as a team or individual to create life size clothing, a face mask or headwear, and jewelry, purely from paper product. This can include using newspapers, fast food wrappers, shopping dockets or even toilet paper. 14.01.2022 Meet some of our famly. We have our working boys, that love visiting our girls, the love it also. Between the us 3 girls we have won a number of ribbons for the... animal and most important their fleece. There are about 22 different colours of the alpaca and between us we have most of them. They love going out to the shows to talk to the people, but love getting back to their mates and telling them what they did. Some of the boys will make it through to the breeding, but most of them will go to other farms to look after other animals from foxes and wild dogs, also well keep the grass down. The girls will also go to other farms to have more babies. But we have our oldies who live their life out with us. For more information please contact us.
