11.01.2022 And just like that she’s all parked up!!! Sheps and I have made it home. This has been an awesome experience. Time to sign off Our wives said no for the moment. On behalf of Sheps and I we would like to thank all the people who donated, all the people who supported us and all the people that rallied with us. ... We have left no stone unturned and are very proud about our achievements. We know that our hard work is helping the treatments of cancer and supporting those who are struggling with the cruelty that cancer brings. This work is however not finished. 11.01.2022 Help us keep it going up Thanks everyone so far.
09.01.2022 So I’d like to remind everyone that whilst Shitbox 2020 was postponed due to COVID!!! It will be back with Vengance in 2021. May I also introduce to the rally Tequila Tuesday. (Macka and Maddie) That’s right! Macka the other half of Our Wives Said No. has decided to rejoin the rally in 2021 after pulling out of the 2020 rally due to family commitments. Because I’d found a new parter in crime. Big Trev- Trevor Shepherd-Smith, Macka has created a new team and his lovely wife ...has decided to dive head first into what will be the experience of her life. Here is the car that has been kindly donated by Tom Clifford from Northerlies. Welcome Maddy Mackenzie (Tuesday) and Rob Macka (Tequilla) Can’t wait to see what you do with the car!!!
02.01.2022 G’day all. So theres been plenty of time to reflect since the Shitbox rally has finished. Wow what an epic adventure for such an amazing cause with such an awesome friend. Most importantly it was all made possible with an amazing amount of support and generosity from you all. ... We set ourselves a goal of $20,000 and on the final day of the rally, I’m proud to say we hit that total. Yee Haa Baby!!! Thanks a million to everyone who donated and supported us along the way... We love you all. Anyhoo! You guessed it. Our Wives Said NO! are back to partake in the next Shitbox rally. This time the route is Mackay to Darwin traversing some of Australia’s most rugged outback. The rally departs in October should corona virus allow??? If Corona has other ideas then it will possibly be delayed till next year. Either way we will keep you all posted. Only one small change to the format that we need to announce. That being the up coming rally will be Sheps with a new Partner in crime (his brother Trevor Shepherd-Smith) whilst Rob Macka (Macka) would love to start a new Shitbox adventure, he unfortunately has quite a hectic year ahead with many other commitments. Fear not though the antics will continue. So for those of you who don’t know, Trev lives in Perth and is as pumped about the cause and the adventure that lies ahead as Macka and I were. The cause is something that is close to Trev’s heart as his mother in law has been fighting her own battle with Cancer for the past few years. Again, I just want to thank everyone who has supported this cause. Watch this space!!!
