These luxury coaches are custom built in Queensland and feature leather seats, air conditioning and the latest audio visual system. Designed and fitted-out for ultimate passenger comfort they embody the renowned safety and performance of the Mercedes Benz badge. This coach is departing for South Australia to carry passengers on our Lake Eyre Spectacular tours. Bon Voyage!

20.01.2022 A rare pleasure at Outback Spirit today, with six of our fabulous crew members at our Albury HQ! Our crews are making final preparations before they head off for their six-month touring season in our Mercedes Benz all-terrain vehicles. After expert servicing and detailing inside and out, our fleet is ready to roll to all corners of outback Australia. 17.01.2022 With the arrival of our last coach back in Albury, we bid farewell to the 2019 tour season. This vehicle, one of two new Mercedes Benz coaches for this year, has just returned from our 12 day Tasmanian Wilderness Explorer adventure. After washing, cleaning and a full mechanical check, she will be tucked away at our Albury home-base ready to hit the road again in 2020 for a new year of outback adventures.

16.01.2022 As floodwaters from the 1st deluge continue pouring into Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre, the Eyre Creek and Diamantina River are still battling it out in their race to Goyder Lagoon. Once they arrive, they’ll join forces to create a second pulse of water down the Warburton Creek, flowing past Kalamurina Wildlife Sanctuary before spilling into Lake Eyre. The flooding of Lake Eyre is an extraordinary spectacle. With departures now released until the end of August, there’s still time to book your spot on one of our award-winning Lake Eyre adventures.

15.01.2022 At Outback Spirit's Arnhem Land Barramundi Lodge, the fish are biting! The first one metre Barra was caught last weekend by angler, Maria Gomez. She arrived at the Lodge at 9.30am and by 10.30am she had hooked the big one. Anyone who catches a Barra over one metre earns huge kudos and goes onto our Barra Lodge leader board...complete with an engraved plaque. PS: all fish caught are released after having their photo taken.
