25.01.2022 Campers are all out now and its time to begin....

24.01.2022 Why not take a camper to Lorella springs? A few of our customers have headed out this way this year and say its amazing!

24.01.2022 #LorellaSundayAfternoonStory So Rhett, where did the name Nannys Retreat come from? "When my family first arrived in the Gulf region, Mum and I flew over the... Yiyintyi range. It was stunning, isolated and remote. Often, when us kids would fight and carry on, my mum would say if you dont stop now, I might just run away to the hills and go build a little shack and hide away in the Yiyintyi! Thankfully she never did leave us (we kept fighting though as siblings do) but the day I finally walked into Nannys Retreat and discovered its beauty, immediately I thought of her and named it after her. It has become and still is her favourite place on Lorella." Have you been to Nannys Retreat? 14.01.2022 Who is looking forward to this? I know I am

14.01.2022 Took the Outback and Beyond kids on a solo camp trip to Mary River Wilderness Resort while hubby went fishing. Went true camp style, tents and all as our campers are off exploring the country side (as they should be this time of the year). Stopped at Leaning Tree Lagoon on the way home for a spot of bird watching. Looks like a lovely place for a picnic lunch.

13.01.2022 Another happy camper just back from a trip to Tumbling Waters (one of our favourite spots). Thanks for the photos, glad you had another great trip away!

11.01.2022 Very much an NT thing

09.01.2022 More of Cahills.

09.01.2022 Only 4 weeks left before we close the doors. Things are quieting down, so this morning we decided to take a little drive and go for a paddle at Crocodile Spring... before breakfast. The weather is overcast again and both the land and wildlife appear to be grateful for the drizzle we got yesterday. In a 2-hour period, we saw so much wildlife, it reminds us why we love this time of the year so much (and why it is worth getting up early!): Brolgas, Sea Eagle, Kites, Azur King Fisher, Dingoes, butterflies, frogs and lizards, native bees, wild pigs, Bush Bustards and even a family of Emus! And all that within a few minutes from the homestead Ironically, even though we were at crocodile Spring, we did not see any crocodile! Have a good weekend everyone!

09.01.2022 Some closures due to the fire worries.

08.01.2022 Clues.... (except of course we have the caravan) also we are still not there. Realised it’s been way too long since we have road tripped with our girls.

07.01.2022 We are now fully booked for this long weekend and the next! Thanks everyone for sharing!

Outb...ack and Beyond hire port-a-loos. Hubby wont go without cold beer? No excuse for not camping. Outback and Beyond hire fridges. Going without a powered camp site? No excuse. Outback and Beyond hire generators. No excuse for not camping. Enquire today! See more

06.01.2022 Gobble gobble gobble!! We love this time of the year, when new life begins at the end of our winter months. Calves, joeys, chicks... and 10 baby turkeys who... joined the Lorella family this morning Anyone coming our way who could bring some Turkey Crumble please? Photo credit: Mathilde Zecchin
