11.01.2022 It's with great sadness that we have decided to offer Outback Packs and Gear up for sale for anyone who is keen to keep a small manufacturing business operating in Australia. We will be continuing to manufacture as normal until the time that any interested parties wish to buy the business, so we won't be shutting the shop just yet. If you're interested in purchasing our business, please contact us. The sale will come with all machinery, materials, large cutting table and designs as well as suppliers lists and website.

But so far one this one job we have used over 10,000m of thread, 360m velcro, 180m pvc, 680m webbing and 3mths of man power. At this point in time it's looking at about March when this order will be finished that we can start taking orders again.

06.01.2022 We've been doing some work on our website to get it more presentable when we can find a spare minute or two. Currently it's had a huge improvement in the design of the old style, but there is more to come and will be looking at getting the help of a Web developer up spruce it up a little more. We've also had a design artist design us a new logo for the business to be something a little more representative of the Outback Packs and Gear name, which we've changed as out Facebook... logo. Let us know of any improvements in our website that you can see so we have an idea what our customers are looking in a wholesome functional website. www.outbackpacks.com.au
02.01.2022 Due to the current overwhelming amount of orders we currently have, both individual and wholesale leading to an excessive backlog of orders, we have made the decision to temporarily close off the ordering part of our website for the next couple of weeks until we can get on top of the current load of backorders. The rest of our website is fully functional, you just can't place any orders for the time being. We would like to thank all of our customers for the support and patience during this extra busy period for our small family owned business bringing you quality Australian Made products. We will make another announcement mid Nov when the website is fully running again and we are able to start accepting new orders.
02.01.2022 Monday mornings mail run after spending the weekend in our family owned small business burning the midnight oil to get our Australian Made products out to our patient customers.
