24.01.2022 Add your name to #ShowYouCare for mental illness TODAY! As a nation, we need to do more for Australians so they know they are not alone.
24.01.2022 Worth a read and consideration
24.01.2022 Makes you think...
24.01.2022 The inner story can be a distraction A loud, Crude, Never ending story that plays out on a loop, Stealing us away for being aware of the present moment.... And the present moment is the gift. It is the complex, Radiant, And awe invoking experience that you, and everything, is a part of. But when we get wrapped up in our internal dialogue, we lose connection to the present. So we must train ourselves... Train ourselves in meditation, In mindfulness, But most importantly... To awareness. We must become aware of the distractions, and all the things that are trying to steal us away from presence and let them GO. So we can return to the now. Return to the present. And return to the experience is being loving awareness itself.
24.01.2022 At The Fly Program we talk and walk gratitude. We look deeply into our lives and identify the people and the things we are grateful for and courage-up and s...hare gratitude with others. What are we grateful for at The Fly Program? We are grateful for the many participants, guys like Mark, men who havent just talked the talk. A man who represents so many of our brothers. Someone who readily picks up the phone to check-in on a mate and inspires us everyday. Thank you Mark - we are grateful that you are a part of our family, like all of our brothers and sisters. #practisegratitude #gratitude

23.01.2022 https://news.yahoo.com/men-smoke-cannabis-testicular-cancer And they say that cannabis "cures" cancer.... The facts of the matter are that not only does cannabis increase the risks of cancer it also increases the likelihood of developing a mental health disorder like anxiety, psychosis and even paranoid schizphrenia.
22.01.2022 Getting out in nature really does help us to relax and reconnect with the world and ourselves. http://theconversation.com/blue-space-access-to-water-featu
22.01.2022 Jp is often known for his entertaining and funny videos, however, this one is serious and thought provoking. I have been in relationships with narcissists before and only now do I understand what that really meant - about the person I was back then. Since then there has been a journey of self discovery and growth, leading to my desire to help others. If you or someone you know could do with some help, please do not hesitate to contact me. Hope you enjoy this video.
18.01.2022 Some elements of outdoor therapy start in the shed. #hobbies #mantherapy. Progress on the wing of a radio controlled aircraft that I am building as a therapy project.

11.01.2022 Blokes who think they should be the primary breadwinner are more likely to suffer from allostatic load say researchers from Penn State University. Thats stress and all the wear and tear that comes with it. http://bit.ly/2E19ntP

10.01.2022 Achieving better mental health is like learning new skills. It takes time and effort. Practice makes perfect. You can do it, just keep trying
09.01.2022 This is a good ethic in any relationship
07.01.2022 Sometimes the feelings can be harder to control. That is where Acceptance is helpful. Accept that we are having a feeling , knowing that it is temporary and will pass in time.
06.01.2022 If anyone is experiencing DV and fears that no one will believe them, please know that they can talk to me and be believed. This story happens more than we realise the media does not report this type of story as it is against the current political view that men are the only perpetrators of DV and women are the only victims. This lie only adds to mens fears of not being believed. Men need to feel that there experiences are real and their feelings are valid. Again, if you or someone you know is experiencing something similar to this contact me for help.

05.01.2022 A helpful calendar to introduce ACT (Acceptance Commitment Therapy). This is a different way to approach our struggles in life.
02.01.2022 Something few men know how to do. Something to think about.
01.01.2022 I love this analogy! You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere. W...hy did you spill the coffee? "Because someone bumped into me!!!" Wrong answer. You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup. Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea. *Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out.* Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out. Its easy to fake it, until you get rattled. *So we have to ask ourselves... whats in my cup?"* When life gets tough, what spills over? Joy, gratefulness, peace and humility? Anger, bitterness, harsh words and reactions? Life provides the cup, YOU choose how to fill it. Today lets work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation; and kindness, gentleness and love for others. (Shared from a friend whose cup is full of goodness and inspiration.)
