AdWords helps you compete with big companies. Your ads can appear amongst the big players in your industry. This provides you with opportunities to get a larger slice of the market. It may also make your business appear bigger than it actually is. 3. AdWords lets you choose exactly what to market and to whom. AdWords is completely customisable. 17.01.2022 Myth #7 - SEO is better than AdWords. Organically appearing in Google search results for your key business activities should be one of your online marketing objectives. AdWords should complement this marketing objective and form part of your business marketing strategy. Using AdWords in conjunction with SEO ensures that your business appears as much as possible when someone searches for your key business activities. Your business name will be dominant compared to competitors. AdWords also has the benefit of instantaneous results whereas SEO takes more time to achieve results. 15.01.2022 Don't Bother With AdWords...Until You've Completed These 3 Things! 1. Check your website is optimised to ensure you convert website visits into sales. This means you provide clear and engaging information about what you offer. You should demonstrate that you can solve website visitors’ problems and demonstrate the benefits of your products/services. Make sure to answer frequently asked questions. Have simple ‘call to actions’ so visitors know how to take further action. Fina...lly, also ensure your website is secure and mobile friendly. 2. Check you have systems in place to respond to enquiries. Test your enquiry systems - Are staff equipped to answer queries? How will live chat be monitored? Is there an afterhours message service? What is the timeframe to respond to email enquiries? Make sure your systems are tight and don't put up barriers or deter people from taking further action. 3. Check you have systems in place to respond to sales and deliver your product/service. Again, test your sales systems - How will you exceed client expectations with your product/service? Do you have sufficient stock/availability? Do you have capable people? Once you've completed these 3 things, you are ready to tackle AdWords. If you need any assistance, get in touch.

08.01.2022 AdWords Doesn’t Work For Outfox Marketing Ironic isn’t it? I use methods other than AdWords to market my own business, yet here I am telling you to use AdWords. But the truth is, AdWords does not work for every business. So the reasons it doesn’t work for Outfox Marketing... Firstly, AdWords is best used for businesses with short buying cycles. The time it takes to see a return on your AdWords spend is the same as the time it takes someone to decide to make a purchase. To see an instant return on your AdWords investment, you need to be in a business where people make buying decisions quickly - something that people don’t do much research on and don’t shop around too much for. For example, if you need a mechanic you will base your decision to contact them on their location, opening hours and review ratings. The buying cycle may be 1 day. However if you need to buy a new computer, you will base your decision on more factors and spend a lot more time researching before finally purchasing, weeks later. The buying cycle for people looking to find an AdWords specialist is weeks, sometimes months. I may receive a click today however they may not contact me for a couple of weeks after they have done further research. Secondly, a history of dodgy operators working in marketing has made people sceptical. This means a relationship needs to be built between myself and potential clients as the foundation to doing any business together. It is no longer just about whether I can provide an AdWords service - people need to know that they can trust me. That trust is built over time through engagement beyond a click on an ad. Thirdly, every AdWords company knows all the tricks of the trade to ensure they have a high quality score. If everyone has a high quality score, it comes down to how much you are willing to pay for a click - this drives up costs. For this reason, for my priority keywords in my target locations, a click can cost $20. This cost partnered with the other reasons discussed here, makes AdWords success for Outfox Marketing limited. Want to know if AdWords will work for your business?...Contact me today and I’ll give you my honest opinion.

03.01.2022 Myth #4 - I tried AdWords and it didn’t work. AdWords doesn’t work for certain types of products/services. We are honest about that and happy to provide our opinion about your product/service if requested. Also, AdWords will only work if you are clear about your objectives and establish AdWords campaigns specifically to achieve those objectives. You also need to frequently adjust your AdWords campaigns to constantly optimise them. Read the other AdWords myths on our Facebook page.
