22.01.2022 5 years ago around now Willie Smith's Apple Shed opened its doors. I was lucky enough to be involved from the start, (after elbowing my way in) and designed and installed the original outdoor space. There's been a few changes since then, but it remains a fantastic place to sit and enjoy a great cider. I've been involved with lots of other projects since then, both commercial and domestic, but I don't get to enjoy those as often as I do this one, so I thought I'd share a few ...pics to remind those involved in the project and all those that have enjoyed the space since, where it all started. 16.01.2022 I se myself a challenge last winter. To convert this old bus into something useful. I love design in all it's aspects and making the most of any space. I think it turned out ok. Might even inspire me to do more small space design. ! Watch this space. ..

14.01.2022 I came across this beautiful, re purposed, old split rail fence today on my way home from a site. Fantastic.

13.01.2022 I’ve been rubbish at updating this site with current projects but I’m particularly proud of how this one is coming on. It’s been a huge job. This is only half of it. More pics to come.

13.01.2022 So excited to tell you that my park proposal at The Hub, in Huonville has been accepted and, subject to the usual permits etc, will be going ahead soon. I'm really pleased to be working with some great local artists and designers, as well as trades, manufacturers and council representatives on this one. The pic is just a taste. 09.01.2022 I hand draw all of my plans and ancillary drawings. I find it connects me to my designs in a way that design programs just don't do. They Ma not be as sharp, but I can get my heart into the easier. For me, that's very important.

09.01.2022 So. At the moment we are working on a domestic scale, new build sub division, a 400m2 new walled garden and have just started planning a two acre formal garden. Plus one or two waiting in the wings and our new stuff with @tinyhuonjomes No pressure

08.01.2022 I love making spaces that as many people as possible can enjoy and so I'm really pleased to be designing a new public space in the Huon Valley. This time is at The Hub on Huonville's, Main Street. I'm looking forward to working with others to provide my community with a great little space to enjoy and relax in. 06.01.2022 For those of you wondering what we would do with that old concrete area left over from a packing shed in our latest project. This is what we have suggested. Boxed planters to hint at its past. Seating areas to take in the views and entertain and pergola to train decorative and productive vines over. Top it off with an easy gravel base and custom built greenhouse and all in all, I feel this with be one of my favourites.
