15.01.2022 Do you remember the children's story by Jonathan Swift called "Gulliver's Travels" ? Imagine how Gulliver felt when he woke to find himself tethered down by all those ropes , unable to move. Sometimes in life we feel like that , tied down unable to move forward , unable to function .... Imagine for a moment that all the pegs on those rope had negative emotions tied to them , Anger ,sadness, fear, hurt, guilt ,and shame. These are the things that slow us down , the things that we allow to affect us , the very things that make us ill. Whatever someone else has done to you in the past is not your fault and yes at the time it hurt. You can't change the past event however you can change how you feel about that event .
