21.01.2022 Planning to visit a park or forest over the new years? Make sure there isn't any closures dut to fires.
06.01.2022 G'day Overlanders and Potential New Members, We have another trip running in the month of June to the Jamieson/Mt Terrible Area. It will be running over Saturday 27th and Sunday the 28th. Obviously we are in full blown winter so pack warm clothes and warm sleeping stuffs. The tracks will most likely be a little moist and any river crossings will definitely be a little higher than usual. Please consider the possibility of spending a little time in the snow during the day, howe...ver I wasn't planning on camping above the snow line. Meeting Point -The Meeting point on Saturday morning will be at the Mansfield Coffee Merchant at 9:30AM. Minimum Recovery Gear -A minimum amount of gear that every vehicle needs to have/carry is 1.A recovery point on each the front and the back of the vehicle. 2.A rated snatch strap and 2 rated Shackles. -All-Terrain or Mud Terrain tyres and some kind of UHF, whether that be vehicle mounted or handheld. RSVP -Please RSVP by direct messaging the Overlanders page by Friday the 26th of June. Earlier if possible. A member of the club will get in touch with you.
