25.01.2022 Richard David really did strike gold when he started working for Boardwalk Tavern in the Gold coast. Having spent nearly a year in this surfers paradise as a full-time chef, Richard has well and truly settled into his new life here in Australia and loves to go bike riding and fishing on his days off! 22.01.2022 Yesterday I welcomed 6 new chefs from the Philippines into Australia where they will begin working across the Laundry Hotel Groups venues in South west Sydney. These chefs are over the moon at the opportunity to live an work in Australia and have endured many assessments and tests to be here. Congrats, I know the Head Chefs that they will be joining cant wait for them to start.

19.01.2022 A big congratulation to all our chefs who had the opportunity to cook for 20 clients last week, and demonstrate their ability and passion for cooking. All have now secured employment and cannot wait to start once their Visas are approved. Just in time for summer.

15.01.2022 11 of our chefs arrived in Sydney over the weekend, all ready and eager to start work. They are all so happy to be given the opportunity and are now looking forward to establishing their careers in Sydney. My clients are also very happy, they have a kitchen brigade full of enthusiastic chefs just in time for summer.

15.01.2022 Media misleading!!!!!! Anyone on a current 457 will not be affected in any capacity, and effectively it will be a 2 year or 4 year visa, after roll our in March 2018. New 457 can still be applied in the interim. Please share and reduce the hype.

11.01.2022 Our candidates perform a 2 hour skills assessment where their knowledge and ability is tested across all areas of the kitchen. William Angliss is an independent assessor and will only accredit candidates that perform at the level of a qualified chef.

11.01.2022 Last month OCP and Australia Chef Migration helped 27 junior chefs from the Philippines find full-time employment in Sydney. The feedback from our clients has been overwhelming with many of the Head Chef impressed with the strong skill set and positive attitude our chefs have. We are looking forward to our next deployment of young chefs to Australia in the coming weeks and cant wait to see them in action across all our clients kitchens.

09.01.2022 Meet Johnny & Jerrika! This week Overseas Chef Placement had the opportunity to catch up with them at their workplace - The Bombay Cricketers Clubs in Kingscliff, located close to the NSW/QLD border. Johnny and Jerrika are performing exceptionally well and they couldn't be happier with their new workplace and relaxed lifestyle. Johnny has taken up beach fishing and is loving how close they live to the beach. keep smiling guys!

08.01.2022 This is Roi Rivera who joined our program last year because he wanted a career and life in Australia. 4 weeks ago Roi left the Philippines and joined the kitchen team at the Panania Hotel in Sydney's South West as a Chef de Partie. Roi has performed exceptionally well, and is now responsible running a small team, plus creating the weekly specials. He couldn't be happier with his new life in Australia. What's more, his Sous Chef, Juan Diego is glad to have him on his team.

05.01.2022 Changes to the 457 haven't slowed applications to join the our program. This week I had the opportunity to meet the next group of dedicated chefs who completed their skills assessments and are ready for employment anywhere in Australia. Not only can this group cook, but they are funny as hell. They all have such a great attitude and passion for cooking. I know they will do well in what ever kitchen they go into.

03.01.2022 Meet Jerome! We have spent a week together in Adelaide getting to know the city and his new employer - Sean's Kitchen at the Adelaide Casino. For the last 20 years, Jerome has worked in professional kitchens all over the world, but never in Australia. Jerome is super excited to now be working with his new team and exploring the Barossa Valley wine region on his days off. Well done Jerome!
