13.01.2022 We're getting close to the kick off of our summer program on Monday so get your rego in now if you are coming along. We've got very good numbers overall but it would be great to get a few more in the older age groups in particular. The program is for experienced as well as new players - a great way to keep fitness and build skills over the summer. Register now and bring a mate!

12.01.2022 Summer program is cancelled for this afternoon due to the lack of summer weather! (And, the ground are closed.)

10.01.2022 Notice of AGM Tuesday 27th October. There are several positions vacant on the committee, please considered whether you can help out. It takes a little bit of time but can be a very rewarding way to give back and participate in our great Owl's community. http://eepurl.com/hgfodH

07.01.2022 We've had a strong response so far for our summer training / get into rugby program. It's a great program for existing players to build skills and maintain fitness as well as an awesome opportunity to bring along a friend to get introduced to rugby and build your team for next year. We'll have groups starting at 4 year olds and going all the way up to 17 year olds. So, find out all the details at the link below and get your rego in now ready for the start on Monday 19 October...: https://owlsrugbyjuniors.com.au/get-in-to-rugby See more

06.01.2022 ** Presentations Tomorrow (Monday) Evening ** Just a reminder on arrangements for tomorrow evening: For presentation night 2020 we will need to do things a bit differently in order to comply with Covid restrictions. ... Firstly, times will be staggered by age groups. We need to ask that the mixing between age groups be as limited as possible (it may be unavoidable if you have children in two different groupings, but please try to minimise their interaction). For each age group, the evening will consist of the formal presentation followed by a sausage sizzle. Each age group will be allocated 30 minutes for the formal component. We do need to ask individual teams to keep their own team presentations to a minimum and spread out as much as possible (we have the two full ovals) and encourage families to leave as soon as possible after their time slot. The start times for the age groups will be as follows: 5 - 5.30PM U7,8,9 5:30 - 6.00pm U10,12 6:00 - 6.30pm U13,15 6:30 - 7.00pm 16s (girls),18 Presentations will start within a few minutes of the allotted time so please be on time. While age groups do not have to leave the grounds before the next age group arrives, we do ask that you stay a maximum of 45 minutes so that we do not have 3 age groups at the ground at once. Similarly, please don't arrive more than 15 minutes before your start time. In addition, the following protocols will be in place: - Designated entry and exit gates - All parents/adults MUST sign in on entry. - Marked areas for the different age groups - 1 parent per child. We do understand that some siblings will need to attend but please try to minimise. - Everyone to hand sanitize on entry and on exit. - All presentations will be held outdoors with 1.5M social distance maintained as far as possible. - If anyone is unwell at all they are NOT to attend. Finally, if you wish to sit down during the event then we recommend bringing a chair or picnic rug.
