24.01.2022 Introducing the OWNA Form Builder feature. OWNA already has so many in-built forms such as Incident Reports, Medication, Hazard Maintenance Logs, Risk Assessments and the list goes on. We cant build every single form! So weve now allowed you to build out your very own via the Portal and it will be available for Parents and Staff to fill out on the App. All information is collated and reported on. Great for surveys, getting permissions from parents for something, staff orientation/induction and so much more.

23.01.2022 Weve made some enhancements to the Checklists to allow you to specify which staff get notified about overdue checklists as well as which staff receive emails once completed. That way those that need to be alerted can now be done so.

20.01.2022 For Centres using our CCS platform. Weve streamlined the submission process by highlighting any warnings for you (such as no sign in/out times, no fees etc). But weve taken it a step further by allowing you to also make modifications on that same page rather than going to the Attendances report to do so. You should be submitting your attendances with such ease when CCS kicks back in.

14.01.2022 We did say we would build it into the App during our CCS webinar - and we do as we say. Going forward when Parents sign their child in/out it will prompt them to sign any previous attendances (if theyd didnt sign) as well as any outstanding Incident Reports for their child(ren). 13.01.2022 Not sure why we didn't roll this simple feature out a long time ago. Log all medication kept in the centre, who it is for, the expiry date and more. The system will alert you when these medications are about to expire or has expired.

10.01.2022 The new OWNA Library feature will be available on the App overnight. (Android is available now). 1. Simply Catalogue your Books by scanning the Barcode. The App will try and find the book. Simply add the Book to your Library once found. 2. Users can browse the library & read/write reviews on all the books in your Library. 3. Click Borrow to Reserve the Book. The centre will get notified when a book is reserved or returned. ... Let's all get reading again. ENJOY!

10.01.2022 Weve been slow on the post lately but here is another new feature coming in the next release along with the exciting Swap Shop feature. Photo IDs of parents, guardians & emergency contacts will now be visible on the App (if there are any) so you can easily identify those individuals who you dont see often but are guardians of that child.

09.01.2022 We continue to build out more reports for our CCS platform with the Aged Debtors Report now available which will highlight all your current debt by families as well as how old they are and the amount. Hopefully your Centre's one does not look as bad as our dummy report shown below...

09.01.2022 As promised we are starting to turn on some of the Automation. We have started with "Submission of Sessions" each week automatically. Within the CCSS > Sessions Reports screen, tap the "Auto Submit Sessions" radio button to activate this. The system will then send your sessions to CCS before Sunday 9pm each week. Please be mindful the onus is on you to check your attendances and make sure they are correct. The system will only submit what is there at that point in time.

08.01.2022 A brilliant suggestion came to us not long ago from Adriana @ Stepping Stones ELC asking if we could build a community initiative on the OWNA ecosystem whereby families are able to donate and exchange kids clothes, toys and other goodies with other families. So introducing the OWNA Swap Shop where families using OWNA can participate in this initiative. This feature should be out very soon (lets get this CCS stuff out of the way first). "It is important that we are constantly looking at ways to strengthen relationships with families and build a sense of community and we are confident that such a feature would really help us do that" - Adriana (Stepping Stones ELC)

07.01.2022 For Centres who do Bus Runs and School Pickup/Drop offs... we havent forgotten about you. We have a nice bus run feature on the App that we are currently working on that we hope to have out shortly.

07.01.2022 As part of the "Enquiry Form" feature that we rolled out last week we also allow Centres to allocate Centre Tours for parents to book. On the Staff Diary add a "Centre Tour" entry. This will then appear on your Enquiry Form right away. Parents can then use the enquiry form to book a Centre tour and you will get alerted right away. Another part of our CRM feature that we are slowly rolling out to all our OWNA centres

06.01.2022 Good news.. For those Centres using our CCS platform, starting this coming week you will be able to claim Inclusion Support Funding via your OWNA portal rather than submitting it to us to claim on your behalf. We have built this feature into the OWNA portal this weekend.

06.01.2022 Update to the latest version of the OWNA App. It contains the fantastic Collaboration Board feature, the ability to pin a message to the top of the Staff Messageboard, Draft a Staff Reflections, View all Posts from a Program, Parents have the ability to select two sessions for Re-Enrolments (great for BSC/ASC) as well as other bug fixes and general improvements to the platform. 05.01.2022 Developmental Milestones, EYLF, Theorists etc are great. But sometimes you just want to have your very own Achievement Checklists for children that you can tick off once a child has achieved something such as "Can use utensils during meal time" for example. It also makes it easier for parents to understand what their child has achieved (rather than seeing 1.2, 7.21 and so on). Use the all new Children Achievement Checklists on the Portal to start doing this now! (available via the App at a later date).

05.01.2022 Even though we’d release the fantastic new Library feature the other day we keep churning out improvements to help our centres. Here is a look at the Temperature Check feature coming out in the next release. Record and track temperature of children in the Centre. For awareness, all Staff as well as the parent of the child will get alerted if a child is over the safe limit.

05.01.2022 You can now create Tags for children so that you can better manage and organise your children in your service. Create your Tags and then assign them to individual children. You can then run reports to get children based on Tags. Going forward these tags can be used on other reports such as Attendances, Programming, Auditing etc etc.

04.01.2022 A sneak peek into the Collaboration Board that will be available on the next version of the OWNA App. Create boards, lists and cards. Organise and collaborate with other stuff members intutitively & easily.

03.01.2022 We love using Trello and boards internally to collaborate, organise and stay on top of things, so much so, that we've decided to make this available for our centres via the Portal so all staff can create boards and organise their work a lot more easily. If you haven't used "Trello" before you will love it. A bit like digital "post-it notes" that you can move around. We won't say it is as good as Trello but it will be be another great tool at your disposal. It will be available over the weekend. Aren't you glad you're with OWNA?

02.01.2022 As part of our OWNA CRM system that we are working on, we are now able to build you an enquiry form that you can embed into your website. All leads will be tracked back to your OWNA Portal allowing you to nurture them from "enquiry" to "waitlist" and then ultimately "enrolment". The OWNA platform gets better every single day with your help. Here is one we did for our good friends over at Child's Play ELC.

01.01.2022 For centres who have a library you are going to love this feature (suggested by St Nicholas Preschool in Canberra). Catalogue all your books easily with the App (scan the barcode & it will know the book, title & image). Parents can browse the Library on the App to see what books are available and reserve it. Centres know what books are out and when they are due back. Welcome to OWNA Library - should be out very soon.
