The creditors will be invited to attend a meeting to discuss their loans to Grocon, and they can vote on the outcome of the administration. Unsecured creditors include employees. KordaMentha will search for any payments made to creditors who did not need to receive money at the time the payment was received. Ie, if your invoice is not due until 25/01/2021 but you get payment on 25/11/2020, commercially that seems a little out of kilter if you have other creditors clamouring for their fees. That could be a preferential payment: t...he administrator can require it to be refunded so a creditor earlier in the queue can be paid first. An unsecured creditor is anyone without an officially recorded interest in property. The PPSR and mortgage interests are secured, and everyone else will stand in line for payment.
