22.01.2022 Untreated Tooth Decay has been on the rise over the last decade, but did you know that leaving decay in your mouth can cause health risks? Having long term tooth decay untreated and poor oral health may lead to heart disease, affects on the brain, loss of teeth as well as other health risks. We at Oxford Dental Practice do not believe in the old 'Drill and Fill' behaviour as previously seen in the dental world.... We encourage prevention by providing our patients with the best at home products to use daily, provide hygiene services, offer X-Ray and recommend 6 monthly routine dental appointments.

22.01.2022 A Thank You post to our many wonderful and generous patients. These are just some of the amazing gifts we received over the last two weeks alone!!! But it is no...t just the fattening presents we are so grateful for. Most of all it is the faith and trust our patients put into our practice and their many kind referrals that we are even more thankful for. We decided to stop paid advertising a few years ago. No more yellow pages, google ads and other print media. But we have remained continuously growing and always busy thanks to the continuous referrals from our long-standing and even our new clients to our practice for cosmetic, laser, implants, and general dentistry. So a very special THANK YOU to our great patients for their kindnesses and ongoing support! Our practice (and our waistlines) wouldn’t keep growing without you! I also want to personally thank my caring and loyal staff for all of their efforts to look after our patients and myself through this very trying year. Having great staff helps keeps everyone feeling comfortable and cared for, and makes coming to work fun for everyone rather than just a job. A very Well Done to new mum and our wonderful ex manager Amy Pawlowski for bringing this fantastic group together. Our team has been so supportive of each other through this awful year and I couldn’t be happier with their efforts.

21.01.2022 WE ARE OPEN As of this Thursday, 30th of April we are officially open! South Australia has finally been given the all clear to start practicing on Level 2 Restriction.... We have attached what Level 2 Restrictions look like for our patients to understand what we can and can not practice. Hygiene will also be back open but with Hand Scaling Only. If you are experiencing any cold or flu symptoms we ask that you reschedule any appointments and do not come into the practice still. 17.01.2022 One of the best parts of our work is the generosity and kindness we receive from our grateful clients. As a thank you for getting rid of his apparently chainsaw... snoring, our patient (and his happy partner) gave us this beautiful bottle of wine. It is one of my favourite local wines, the 2009 Geoff Merrill Reserve Shiraz. We were the first dental practice in SA to offer Nightlase, which is a non surgical, painless and safe laser snoring treatment. One of the interesting things that happened during this very difficult year is that this has become one of our most popular cosmetic procedures! 11.01.2022 As announced by SA Health it will now be mandatory for all health care facilities to have a covid-19 safe plan as of 1/12/2020. At Oxford Dental Practice we can assure you that we will be following all guidelines for the safety of our patients, community and our team members. When arriving at Oxford Dental Practice we have been some new measures in place. All patients are now required to wear masks when entering, as well as checking themselves in with the QR Code. The QR cod...e will be located on the front desk for all patients to scan before your appointment. We appreciate your patience during this difficult time.

Recently our practice was very happy to have met one of the Australia's lea...ding personal trainers, the very inspirational Kwame Duah. Kwame is the star of our new practice video! We were impressed with the very professional Onecast Media group who produced this fantastic video for us, showcasing some of what we do at our dental practice. We are very proud that we brought innovations like LUMINEERS no drill, no needle porcelain veneers, Snap On Smile, First Fit, LUMIBRITE Teeth Whitening, Sapphire/Velscope mouth cancer detection systems, and many other dental materials and technologies to Australia for our own patients and other dentists through our business www.godental.com.au. Our first and biggest love though is meeting and looking after our many, many patients, lots of whom have become good friends over the years too! 05.01.2022 COVID-19 Dental Practice Update Although the rest of the country is moving back to Level 2 Restrictions on Monday, unfortunately South Australia has yet to be given the all clear. We expect a start date for South Australia to be announced very soon but at this stage we still ask for your patience.... We understand it can be frustrating, especially if you are waiting for a filling but we are trying our best to deliver quality service and safest practises for you. 03.01.2022 We are coming back! The Prime Minister announced that dentistry is going back to level 2 restrictions next week. After many weeks of stress, dealing with impossible freight conditions, ever changing and unpredictable export laws, all with people in another country, our KN95 face masks finally arrived. As we get back to work next week we are feeling a bit more comforted finally having our high filtration masks and gowns so we can help look after our patients with greater peace of mind for all of us. Our practice is following strict protocols to ensure everyone’s safety. If anyone needs KN95 face masks or knows any businesses, hospitals or anyone else who needs some, let me know by PM as we at long last now have a reliable source for them for everyone in need.

03.01.2022 We are happy to announce we will be operating as normal from Tuesday 24th of November. Our staff will be in today re booking all appointments and taking calls. We can't wait too see you all again soon :)
