15.01.2022 ‘The first call on Christmas Day was around 7am and was about a 5-day-old. My second call didn’t come in until a little after 9am. This was a mum with a 3-week-old. Both were really important calls, and I was glad to be there for them. The families had questions that needed answers straight away and they couldn’t wait a day or so until their health providers were available.’ Vicki, volunteer breastfeeding counsellor. This holiday season, ABA’s volunteers will continue to be there for breastfeeding mums and their families 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This GivingTuesday Australia you can help us continue to offer this vital support by donating to our Festive Appeal >> aba.asn.au/festiveappeal20 #GivingTuesday #GivingTuesdayAUS #festiveappeal20 #ozbreastfeeding

A key action are...a to create breastfeeding friendly environments is that 'All Commonwealth, state and territory government departments must seek Breastfeeding Friendly Workplace accreditation from the ABA.'
