19.01.2022 Nominations are now open to coach our junior and senior 2021 State Cup teams. Hervey Bay will be taking away teams to the 2021 State Cups in the following divisions. U10/11 boys, U12/13 boys, U14/15 boys, U16/17 boys, U12/13 girls, U14/15 girls, U16/17 girls, Open Men, Open Ladies, Senior Mixed. 18.01.2022 Junior and Senior players and parents please note. The maximum amount of teams that can be admitted to Junior and Senior State Cup has not been reached yet at this stage. So if we can get more players nominated for teams, we may still be eligible to admit a team without the full 16 players. So it's very important to have as many players nominated as possible. 15.01.2022 Senior players please note that we are playing on the Oztag fields tonight. Parking is accessed from the dirt road immediately inside Sport Precinct entrance. Drive across grass all the way up to Oztag fields, or park in bitumen area in park spaces only. There is NO PARKING immediately in front of fields on main road or island, or on newly developed area around the admin shelter. See you all tonight!

15.01.2022 All Junior and Senior State Cup nominees and parents please note the following. Representative trials will be held on Sunday 15th November for the following teams. Under 10/11 boys, Under 12/13 boys, Open Ladies and Open Men. All players and parents from these teams have been contacted today, so please contact us immediately if you have not been contacted, to ensure that we have your correct details! Information for other teams not needing to trial and other nominees will be available asap.

15.01.2022 Junior parents please note. Any cancellation of games due to weather will be posted here immediately a decision has been made. Also the wet weather page at www.herveybayoztag.com will be updated immediately. Calls and messages will probably not be answered as we will still be at the fields attempting to set up. 14.01.2022 Just a further update and times for Sunday's rep trials . Please note for junior trial, parents are to sign in and out on our Covid register. No spectators within 10m of the sideline and supportive comments only please! Selectors are not to be approached. Senior trials = No Spectators! Sorry guys, we are busy enough already! All players MUST bring a numbered shirt ( not a club Humpbacks shirt). Under 12/13 boys are to be on the field at 11.15 am for an 11.30 kick off. Open Ladies on the field at 12.50pm for 1pm kick off. Open Men on the field at 2.15 for a 2.30om kick off. Anyone that cannot make the trial needs to inform us asap! Good luck to all players

14.01.2022 All players arriving tonight, please take note to comply with our industry plan you need to arrive no earlier than 10 minutes outside of your game time, go to your field immediately, and leave immediately after your game. Please use the ramp entry and exit as sign posted, do not enter from any other point. All pre ordered shorts will be collected by team managers ONLY. Physical distancing is to be observed whenever you are not on the field. Thank you all in advance

Unfortunately at this time under our Covid industry plan, your friends and partners cannot attend just to watch, it's players only. 1 parent for a minor playing in seniors is the exception. Some teams only need a few more players to lock in a team. So if you want to play State Cup for Hervey Bay, nominate now people before the bus has left the station! 04.01.2022 We are nomads no more! Last night, the first ever games were played under the new lights on our fields at the Fraser Coast Sport And Leisure Precinct ! After 15 years, Hervey Bay Oztag have realised the dream of having our own fields, and autonomy for our thousands of members. A big thank you to Fraser Coast Regional Council for fulfilling our critical need by creating the precinct and delivering the badly needed infrastructure , and also a big thank you to Hervey Bay Football for providing fields to play on whilst waiting for the lights project. A special thank you to our hard working and united committee who strive always to take our club forward. Our continually growing seasons will now be played on immaculate fields under brilliant lights and the future is bright and secure for Hervey Bay Oztag! So come and join us!

04.01.2022 Players playing in Grand Finals tonight please note. All winning teams will be staying on the field for a quick sideline presentation. Non winning teams to exit asap as per our Covid plan. After presentation, we ask winning teams to also exit immediately. Arriving teams MUST NOT arrive any earlier than 10 minutes before your game. All usual Covid protocols are also to be observed including physical distancing when off field and NO spectators please.
