The risk of developing prostate cancer increases with age, but that doesnt mean its a disease that only affects old men. Prostat...e cancer is the second most common cancer in men worldwide. If youre 50, you should be talking to your doctor about PSA blood testing. And if you have a family history of prostate cancer, do it at 45. The difference between early detection and late detection can be life and death. When detected early, prostate cancer survival rates are better than 98%. Find it late, and the survival rates drop below 26% beyond five years.
