25.01.2022 School photos are happening on Monday! UNIFORM HAS NOW CHANGED TO SUMMER DUE TO THE HOT WEATHER PREDICTED.

25.01.2022 Don't forget our colour run and water fight is on tomorrow! Students should come in light or dark clothes that can get colour on them and bring a towel. All super soakers should have their name on them. No water balloons please!

24.01.2022 The last day of Uniform sales for 2020 is Friday, 20th of November. Uniform sales will recommence on Thursday, 21st of January.

18.01.2022 The stage three class is off to see a working coal mine on Wednesday, 2nd of June. Make sure to return your permission notes asap!

18.01.2022 We have reviewed our anaphylaxis acceptable food list and have made some slight changes. We will now be asking that there is NO PEANUTS OR SHELLFISH (crustaceans like crab, prawn, shrimp, etc) bought onto school grounds, rather than no nuts or fish. This means students will be allowed to bring other nuts (almonds, cashews, Nutella, etc), and fish (tuna, salmon, etc) to school for recess and lunch. the NO EGG policy is still in place and this includes in any food. PLEASE CHECK THE INGREDIENTS LIST ON ALL PACKAGING TO ENSURE IT DOES NOT CONTAIN EGG, PEANUTS, OR SHELLFISH. LETS KEEP ALL OUR KIDS SAFE AT SCHOOL.

17.01.2022 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT You may have seen in our Newsletter on Friday that due to the predicted hot weather scheduled tomorrow, the decision was made to change to SUMMER UNIFORM for school photos. While we apologise for the late decision on Friday, the safety and comfort of our students and staff is important, and it is impossible for us to predict the ever changing weather. We would hate for anyone to overheat with the 31c temperature and 50%-70% humidity prediction. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow for our annual school photos. Order forms can be bought to the office in the morning.

17.01.2022 Our end of year presentation has been schedulded for Friday, 4th of December. We are currently planning around how this will look with COVID restrictions and will inform families once this has been finalised.

15.01.2022 We would like to welcome Mr Damien Gainsford. Mr Gainsford has come to PBCS in the role of Principal. Mr Gainsford has moved to Muswellbrook from Queensland and brings with him his wife, Leisa and 7 of his 8 children, 4 of whom will be attending PBCS. Damien met with parents, via zoom, on the 24th of September. This was recorded and will be distributed to parents who missed it.

13.01.2022 With the weather starting to warm up, students are now able to wear either their Winter or Summer Uniform, though not a combination of both. Uniform orders can be placed through the school office. Student will be required to be in Summer Uniform from the end of the 2nd week of next term. Winter Uniform is required for school photo day on Monday 21st, September.

12.01.2022 98.1 Power FM SCHOOLS BREAKY IS ON AGAIN! Join us from 7am tomorrow (Thursday) for the schools breaky. Dana and Harry will be broadcasting from PBCS and are bringing along a breakfast. There may even be a visit from Edinglassie Rural Fire Brigade . Hope to see you bright and early!

10.01.2022 Which side are you on?! Game two of the 2020 State of Origin is happening tomorrow, the 11th, and we have decided to have some fun with it. Students are invited to come to school tomorrow dressed in either Blue or Maroon and show their support for their favourite team.

10.01.2022 Today we commemorated Remembrance day. A poem by John McCrae, In Flanders Fields was read by our Middle School Captain, Jacob Wood, followed by Amazing Grace played by Mrs Dugan on the bagpipe practice Chanter, a minutes silence and 'The Ode' read by Bella Dugan, our other Middle School Captain. 09.01.2022 Book Week is happening on Tuesday, 1st of December. Students can come to school dressed as their favourite book character. This year due to COVID we are not able to invite parents to watch the parade, but we will be sharing photos of the day.

06.01.2022 There was plenty of colour, water and smiles today. Thank you to the P&F for organising such a fun afternoon. They also presented Mr O'Hara with a gift and each of the staff with some goodies. We all feel very spoilt. Our year 6 students also received a graduation certificate and bible to mark the milestone of the end of their primary schooling. Last day of school tomorrow for 2020 followed by our presentation evening at Muswellbrook Race Club starting at 5pm.

04.01.2022 It is Presentation day! Please arrive at the Race club around 5pm for a 5.15pm start. Bring your own chair if you wish, or feel free to sit on the grass. Students need to wear their normal summer uniform.

02.01.2022 On Friday, 25th of September, which is also the last day of the term, we will be hosting a footy colours day. Students are invited to wear their favourite teams colours for a gold coin donation. This may be NRL, AFL, Soccer, etc and all money raised will go to help children with cancer continue their schooling while in hospital. There will also be a fun afternoon of games and activities.
