21.01.2022 Hi everyone interested in racing in Portugal at the Worlds. Don’t forget that the MAKAI cup (8th Feb) is the selection event for the Opens, U23s and Juniors with top 5 being selected. If you are relying on ICF ranking points then at the moment there are only 3 more ICF ranking races - MAKAI cup (National championship race), Lanzarote, Spain -8th Feb (World Cup) ... Eurochallenge, Spain - 2nd May (International race). Masters - please email [email protected] to register your EOI for Portugal, listing the races you have competed in for past 12 months.

20.01.2022 A huge shout out to AOCRA . Chris Berry from nsw aocra was the man responsible for organising the loan of aocras yatch bot tracking system for the MAKAI CUP. So good to see two associations working to gether for the good of the sport. Just one good reason to be a member of either. Hopefully as clubs form we can all benifit a little more from our numbers

This race is also the selection event for the Juniors/U23's and Open p...addlers wishing to race in the 2020 World Championships in Portugal 1st-6th September. Master's if you want to compete in Portugal then please email [email protected] advising of your interest and list the races you competed in during 2019 and/or your intention to race in the 2020 MAKAI cup. Please let Julie know if you are interested in booking your ski onto the "Kayak Courier's" truck for this race. (FYI 2021 World Champs are in Lanzarote-Canary Islands mid to late July 2021)
