12.01.2022 In Term 4, our Year 9 STEM students acted as biomedical engineers. In small teams, they designed protective head gear for contact sports in order to prevent brain injury. Each group built a prototype and tested their experimental headgear designs. Well done to Miss Gaddes and the boys on completing this challenging but rewarding unit of work. #paduaproud

David is the CEO for Wellbeing Code and spoke to our gents today about making good choices, mental health and wellbeing with the school holidays just around the corner. 06.01.2022 A huge Brown and Gold congratulations to 2020 Padua Community Leader Sam Hudson for being accepted into the Queensland Conservatorium of Music's Bachelor of Music Program Majoring in Jazz Bass. Every year, hundreds of applicants audition for very few places at The Con - this year was no different. With all the challenges COVID-19 brought us this year, the audition process was adjusted to include a videoed audition for the first round, with applicants that progressed to the second round invited in for a face-to-face audition. We are #paduaproud of Sam and wish him all the best for the future.

05.01.2022 Christmas is certainly the time for giving and Padua has shown what a generous Community we are. Throughout Term 4 boys and staff have collected food items and gifts for people in need. Those organisations to benefit from this year’s collection include: Kedron Conference of St Vincent de Paul (Grocery hampers and gifts), Rosies Aspley BBQ Van (Christmas boxes), Micah Projects (gifts), Emmanuel City Mission (Christmas boxes, groceries and gifts) and Angel Trees Prison Ministry (gifts). Thank you Padua for helping to put ‘Christ’ back into ‘Christmas’ this year. #PaduaPROUD
