This week it has been our best selling statue so here is a little info on Dionysus... ... Dionysus is the Greek God of wine and fertility. He is the son of Zeus and Semele, being the only god with a mortal parent. The festival of Dionysia was held in spring in his honour, when the vines would being to bear leaves. To honour him, offer him grapes and wine. Eat figs, decorate with ivy and the colour purple. Enjoy the theatre and entertainment
