24.01.2022 Were you in FAME in 2003? Photo by Ellen Read Don’t forget, if you want to contribute some of your own performing arts history to PAHST, the first week of March starts today! 7 Days each month to contribute to Townsville’s Performing Arts History ... Have you been onstage, backstage, or in the orchestra, of a show? Would you like to have your achievements recorded as part of Townsville’s performing arts history? The first week every month we are accepting contributions from people in the performing arts. Please send us your digital photos and biographies. Or perhaps you have anecdotes to tell. Or do you know of someone else who’s made a contribution to the performing arts scene? We will put them into our archives at the Performing Arts Museum, Jezzine Barracks, and on our website and Facebook page - with your permission. PAHST’s email is [email protected] We’d love to hear from you.

21.01.2022 Townsville Performing Arts Museum In consideration of our members and our many visitors, the committee has decided to close the Museum at Jezzine Barracks, due to the coronavirus. This will be assessed again towards the end of April.... Thank you for your understanding. Our Facebook page will still be operating.
21.01.2022 It is with regret that the Australian Concerto and Vocal Competition Management Committee had to make the decision to postpone the 2020, 40th Anniversary Compet...ition to next year. The safety of all involved with the competition must be our paramount concern in these very challenging and uncertain times with Covid-19. We know that the unavoidable postponement of the event will be a disappointment to our members and supporters and also to those who have already entered or would have entered the Competition. We look forward to a great celebration from 16 to 20 July 2021 with your continued support. ACVC Management Committee . . .
