24.01.2022 Paisley Park Laidley QLD, has had some wonderful community engagement with the Together for Lockyer group this week. And as part of Child Protection Week our Centre was lucky enough to receive some support packs for our families in need, and book resources for our older childrens Rooms. We also popped out to visit members of our local community on R U OK Day and shared delicious in house baked carrot, orange and poppy seed muffins as a Thank You for continued hard work. Weve taken some beautiful photos with the staff from Chemsave Pharmacy in Laidley, and the Laidley Police Station to share with you. We love getting out amongst our community, giving back and showing our appreciation. #PaisleyParkLaidley #supportinglockyerfamilies #qldchildprotectionweek #EYLFOutcome2Community #NQSQA5Relationships #NQSQA6Community

22.01.2022 Spending time in the garden offers many important learning experiences and gives children a greater understanding the world around them. This week the children at Paisley Park Melton VIC, gathered around our vegetable garden beds to harvest fresh mint. We were so happy to hand them to our Chef Rekha who used our fresh herbs in a delicious natural mint yoghurt sauce to be served with our lunch. The children were amazed by the aroma and were very excited when showing Rekha what they had grown. https://paisleypark.com.au/our-centres/childcare-melton-vic/ #PaisleyParkMelton #EYLFOutcome2Community #Food

20.01.2022 Our children at Paisley Park Early Learning Centre Sale VIC, are encouraged to self serve during meal times. They learn to control their own portion quantities, pour their own water, and make decisions for themselves. The Picasso and Einstein children enjoyed some healthy and tasty wraps for lunch made by our wonderful Chef. As always the children washed their hands before coming over to choose what they would like on their wraps. The children lined up at the serving bench and used tongs to place the food on their plates before finding a seat at the table with their friends. #PaisleyParkSale #EYLFOutcome3Wellbeing #NQSQA2HealthSafety

17.01.2022 Its Super Hero Day at Paisley Park Maryborough QLD. Superhero Day is a wonderful opportunity to engage the children in discussions surrounding how to be a super friend, helping our community, and supporting each other. The children explored this topic through dramatic play experiences, dressing up, creating their own super hero masks, and listening to stories such as our Centre favourite I can be a super friend. Reading our related story also helped children engage with literacy in meaningful ways to include aspects of World Literacy Day into our daily activities. #PaisleyParkMaryboroughQLD #EYLFOutcome2Community #NQSQA1ProgramPractice

17.01.2022 At Paisley Park Early Learning Centre Playford (SA) weve recently welcomed two canaries to our family. One is orange and the other yellow, and their arrival has bought lots of excitement. Children have shown a keen interest in participating in the caring for our new pets, assisting with cleaning out their cage, offering them fresh water and replenishing their seed bowl. After much discussion, the Educators and children have decided to call our new pets Mango and Lemon, very fitting considering their lovely bright colours. Caring for our Centre pets assists children with promoting a sense of responsibility and empathy for other living creatures, and the world around them. #PaisleyParkPlayford #EYLFOutcome4ConfidentLearners #NQSQA5Relationships

09.01.2022 #PaisleyParkPLAYFORD SA, have recently added a mud kitchen to the sandpit in the Darwin yard. In this setting, not only does this piece of equipment stimulate role and imaginary play opportunities, but opportunities for gross motor development as the babies pull themselves up to explore whats on offer at the top of the kitchen. Today children have really enjoyed cooking up a storm using sand, natural resources and water, and engaging in positive interactions with their peers and Educators as they gathered together to have fun in this space. #EYLFOutcome4ConfidentLearners #NQSQA3PhysicalEnvironment

09.01.2022 Lunch at Paisley Park Tinana QLD, was a delicious home made Pizza. Our clever Chef, Miss Amanda made the dough using only two ingredients Greek yoghurt and wholemeal flour. Who knew it is so easy to make something so delicious? Pizza is a great way to hide lots of extra veggies in childrens meals. Our version had ham, pineapple, tomatoes, capsicum and onion topped with mozzarella cheese. All the children absolute loved it, with most of us grabbing a second helping! Yum. #PaisleyParkTinana #EYLFOutcome3Wellbeing #NQSQA2HealthSafety

09.01.2022 Meet our Centre Zoologist at Paisley Park Bundoora VIC. Hello, my name is Tanya and I am an Educator here. One of my roles is to take care of all our amazing animals and help to educate the children about them and encourage positive interactions. I have a long background in animal care and education, and have many animals of my own at home. It gives me great pleasure to incorporate animals in a child care environment as these experiences can help improve childrens social in...teractions, reduce stress, anxiety, learn empathy, respect, awareness of the needs of others, as well as increase motivation and enrich learning. Children love to look at animals, watch how they eat and move, listen to their sounds and feel their different textures. In addition, we take great care to teach and encourage hygiene and safety practices at all times. #PaisleyParkBundoora #EYLFOutcome4ConfidentLearners #NQSQA5Relationships See more
