We all need some people in our life who won't judge us but listen to us. Take care of your physical and mental health. I am not a professional but happy to only listen to you. 13.01.2022 I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new President of this awesome organisations and hope that together we can make it more appealing and useful to our broader community. Please support me with suggestions, feedbacks and also by volunteering at the Toy Library when we will reopen after the restrictions are lifted and Cardinia Shire Council allow us to do so. Please take care of yourself, family and friends. The best thing we can all do at this diff...icult time is picking up the phone and calling someone everyday and have a simple conversation. Each workshop has three 60-minute online sessions which will connect you with other local parents whose children with disability are also starting Prep in 2021. Together, you’ll support each other as you share knowledge and learn how to build positive partnerships with your child’s schoo...l for the start of Prep and throughout the school years. You will also learn about: >> School processes and how to use them effectively - SSGs, IEPs, PSD >> Supporting your child with the transition to school >> Planning ahead once your child has started school An added bonus is that ACD’s workshop facilitators are all parents who’ve supported their own children with disability make the transition to school, so they know exactly how you’re feeling and what to expect. 03.01.2022 Hi everyone. There has been a lot of traffic on the site, lots of people seeing what we do and lots of likes. There have also been questions. Yes we are closed. With the tighter restrictions coming back into play as of midnight tonight, we can not definitely say when we will be open. Please be reassured we will let you know as soon as we know something. Just be aware that when we do open there will be restrictions in place as to numbers and sanitising etc. More details will follow when we know them. Until then, be safe...and keep playing.
