Originally developed as a temporary off-leash area in response to COVID-19, the dog park has shown to be very popular with Palmerston dog owners and it was supported to make the area permanent during community consultation. ... The upgrade is part of the proposed SWELL (Swimming, Wellness, Events, Leisure, Lifestyle) master plan which will transform the Palmerston Swimming and Fitness Centre into an accessible, contemporary and family friendly water and lifestyle precinct. 06.01.2022 Pre-Cyclone Clean Up Update Our first area collection is well underway! All recycling collection is to be completed this week with general waste to be completed early next week. A friendly reminder to please not add any further items whilst the collection is in progress. Visited areas are being recorded therefore any items placed on the curb after 5th-6th September, may not be collected....
