15.01.2022 The Dept of Health has told us to expect increased mosquito activity for the next fortnight, as a result of all that rain we have had. When visiting the park, we ask that you follow the advice to minimise the chance of being bitten. Wear protective light-coloured clothing with long sleeves, long trousers, and ankle protection with socks, in areas where mosquito bites are likely.... Avoid outdoor exposure near wetlands and areas of dense vegetation as well as other areas of high mosquito activity. Use a protective repellent containing 20% DEET, picaridin or PMD (extract of lemon eucalyptus) and other mosquito protection devices as a supplement to protective clothing when outdoors in areas of mosquito activity. Ensure infants and children are adequately protected against mosquito bites. See more

08.01.2022 Great news, our contractors have worked tirelessly over the last couple of days to get the park back up and running in time for today. There is also a surprise install for everyone visiting the park, with the addition of the much anticipated shade shelter over the children’s wet play area is now complete. Palmerston Water Park is now OPEN from today - business as usual.

From 9:00 NT emergency services Police and Fire will be at the PWP carpark with their horses, trucks, vehicles and activities to keep the curious ones in the family entertained. From 10am AFL NT will be down in the park to kick the footy and burn some of that holiday energy with the kids.... Rounding out the day from 5 to 7pm, Palmerston and Regional Basketball Association is hosting the PaRBA Slip & Slushie Day! If the slides aren't your thing then turn up to the water park skate park for free skateboarding session with Build Up Skateboarding NT. Don't miss this action packed day out at PWP!
